So this part Sea Life was recorded in place that you were taken by boat? How much does it cost to take such a trip? How much costs dinners in restaurants in Le Bora Bora? I was on their website but no info about prices.

I empathize with your sentiment at the end regarding creating content. From 2017 - 2018, I made a lot of travel vlogs and burned myself out with it. It honestly distracted me from being in thr moment, because I just wanted to capture the right moment or have the right angle. I was living to much through the camera. So definitely encourage that reflection and change. Put your capacity as your priority. Thank you for the inspiring videos.

I was waiting for a clip of your zoomies and you chewing on a stick 🙂. We just got back from doing our R3. Definitely the hardest thing I have ever done. We had to come back up SK because BA was closed and that just sucked but it was awesome to be in the GC again. You are so fortunate to be out west. Take your breaks, prefer content that you are enjoying making vs. content you feel you need to make. Enjoy your perspective on things, insights into places I didn't know about and of course your cute little floofy sidekick who drinks smart water 🤣
@trailandtravelАй бұрын
lol im too old to get the zooms like he does and I can't say that im fond of the taste of tree bark in my mouth ;) lol. Congrats on the R3!!! It is absolutely the hardest hike I've ever done, nothing else even comes close! I can't imagine coming up SK that must have been tough, you probably had to carry a lot of water too. Thank you for the support! I truly love living in this beautiful state, there is so much to explore. my little goof ball will be in many more videos! Don't worry the smart water bottle had tap water in it lol. I just keep some smart bottle around for backpacking because they are light and easy to replace!

Did y'all check in with the visitor center? Zion nps site mentions asking which archeological sites are open to the public. We asked the east gate rangers on the way from bryce thru zion back to vegas but they seemed to think this wasn't open.

There wasn’t any signs at the trail head showing it was closed. There were also other people on the trail so I’m assuming it was open. I’ve never seen a sign that said it was closed on the trailhead.

Great video! Such a cool hike. My husband and I did a rim to River in late September. While it was hands down one of the coolest things I’ve ever done, I want to underscore for others who want to hike the canyon how important it is to research, plan, prepare, and train for these hikes. We saw a lot of people in really bad shape on trail and at the bottom. Temps at phantom in the shade were 101 on 9/25/24 and even today 10/9/24 high down there is going to be 98. Have fun but prepare and stay safe! Don’t underestimate the canyon.
@trailandtravelАй бұрын
Thank you! I completely agree with you. I have heard so many stories of people who are unprepared heading down into the canyon and having a very difficult time getting out. Preparation is KEY!
