I found it interesting that as you described your drive to provide videos that have a destination, I realized that from a viewer’s perspective, I was much more interested in following the journey. It’s a good reality check to note that not all hikes end with successfully hit the destination and that simply enjoying the hike was most important.

That is great to hear, I’m curious how many of my viewer share your interest in my journey over the destination. Thank you for watching and always sharing your support! I’m certainly committed to enjoying the journey going forward!

Every time I visit St. George I always say to myself that I must check out Pine Valley, somehow I never could squeeze it into my itinerary. I will make a point to hike there next time. Thanks for sharing. Oh and for me, its always about the journey and less about the destination!😉

Because of the snowpack, best months for summit hikes is August-September. Brown's Point is also one of the most challenging trails in Pine Valley. Best trail for summiting is Forsyth Canyon.

Another great video! Thank you. Do you have any plans to go to Havasu Falls in the near future?

It currently but I would love to do it someday soon! I know permits a very difficult to get though. I have plans to do the Hopi salt trail next weekend which has the same blue water, just without the waterfall.

Great video! I didn’t see where you said in the video what hike you did on Pine Mountain? I love Pine Mountain. If you are interested check- out Blake- Gubler and Gardener peak both part of Pine Mountain. Safe and Happy trails. Your St George Neighbor🤗🥾

I think I’ll try it from the Blake Gubler side on my next attempt. I’m a bit nervous about the road to get to the trailhead though. I’ve heard that it can be a bit rocky, I’m worried my Subaru may not make it. Have you been up there recently? Any recommendations?

@@trailandtravel Good morning. I went back to see when I attempted to get to the Blake-Gubler trail and it was mid February. I drive a Tacoma truck which wasn’t a problem before but because of the snow and mud we ended up on a trail called Goat Springs which was ok. Plus for some reason our GPS was acting funny and couldn’t find the Trail head to Blake-Gubler. Not sure how your Subaru would do in even the best conditions. It’s rocky and slow going but such a great hike. After watching your Browns video I’m heading up there this Thursday with a friend, not sure how far we will get her knees have been acting up. I was telling my husband I wondered if you would ever want to do a hike together. I tend to hike a lone a lot like you but now and then it would be fun to have someone to hike with. I have hiking friends but they tend to be limited on what they can physically do. No worries if your not interested I totally will understand. Have a great day

@@dorindaalberthal1316 thank you so much for the reply! I’m grateful for your input. I’ve heard the road to get to the trail was as such. Im nervous to attempt in my Subaru, but maybe someday I’ll get up there! I am definitely open to hiking with you! Although the weather here in St. George is getting quite hot!
