I discovered your channel through your Grand Canyon Rim to Rim to Rim video and have been telling my friends how incredibly brave you are to hike the canyon alone at night!!! You are awesome and so inspirational! Here's wishing your channel grows and that you get to do this for a long time!

@@trailandtravel I am subscriber and I am sure you'll get a lot of subscribers soon! Can I make a suggestion? For longer videos, you could add 'chapters' as they allow viewers to go to specific segments in your video and re-watch easily.

You and I have the same roadtrip prep process! One tip for never having to worry about directions in areas with no cell service is to take a screenshot of the directions before you leave for your destination. This has come in handy so many times during my roadtrip through Utah and Arizona.

I loved this video. Beyond the incredibly beneficial logistics review, it also goes into how much you love almost every part of your trips. As a scientist of human behavior, I also find it interesting and informative for men how many women applaud your bravery and courage. As a typical male, I do not consider the aspects of traveling solo. I have driven across the country by myself several times, traveled to remote areas of the world, and undertaken several month-long trips without such considerations for safety. This is a reminder for us guys that (1) such safety considerations are probably important for us to consider more than we do and (2) if we stop to help a woman who is on her own, remember that she will likely - and smartly - consider you a potential threat to her safety until you are gone. Of course, there are plenty of dangers beyond people. Please chime in to correct my mansplaining errors in this interpretation.

Thank you! I think I am an overly cautious person.. and you might not see that in my videos but I truly am. Im always thinking of how I can handle different situations and make myself feel comfortable while I do these big adventures. Yes there are many dangers with traveling solo as a woman, but honestly I like to think that the majority of people out there are well mean. But I do keep my guard up if I feel a weird vibe from someone. I don't think you're mansplaining! I just think a lot of women want to make sure they will be safe!

I like to clean my car before road trips too! :) You have great road trip prep! I think I'm going to start bringing a big thing of water to save money at gas stations. That's a great tip!

Milo is such a good helper =p. I love how organized you are. I got a tote to put all my soft flask water bottles, filters etc in and even that has been a bit life-changing. (Loving the new Katadyn filter, BTW). Need to pick up some more totes, for sure! Hope you're having a great trip. Looking forward to the vid(s).

I went to Glacier NP for the first time in early June with the goal of biking the going to the sun road knowing it wasn’t fully open yet. Very Beautiful place. West side was 10x better for camping East side was 10x more scenic in my opinion of course. Can’t wait to see how you do it if you share. Are you going to not show video from inside the park or did you get the permit to record and share? I have some awesome video to share but I didn’t get the permit quite the bummer.

Watched this and got just as excited and I am not even going.:) Maybe too excited.. did you say you were going to get content from the actual travel to get there? That would be great to see as well.. One suggestion from watching. Seems you rely on your cell phone and service for GPS... Maybe invest in an actual GPS.. You know know when it could save you... I recently bought an Etrex 22X and downloaded maps to it then added way points... I no longer use my phone except for driving directions....

Yes I'll be sharing my trip up there! on Saturday my road trip video will come out! Yes I do rely solely on my phone for navigation, and as you heard in the video it has failed me several times. Ive been considering getting a gps I'll have to check out the one you recommended! Thanks for watching!
