I'm 8 months, I have progressed a ton but as I am not that fan of football/soccer I am thinking about waiting 1 year for returning to the sport. I plan training hard in the gym 4 months more and then return what do you think? Srry english is not my main language
@iamolegsavkaКүн бұрын
@@ignacio4098 heyooo nice! It depends where you are at in your progression and how you are feeling. Better to talk about this with a physical therapist as they would understand your progression best. If you are feeling good at 8 months then you can definitely do agility work at least in my opinion while wearing a brace as I was around that point.

Opinion On Ukraine's Partnership With Adidas
@iamolegsavka3 күн бұрын
Yooo I like it personally as it is something new and we have had Joma for ages now. BUT I love the Joma designs and I think the rumored new leaked Ukraine kit looks kind of boring so I am hoping Adidas will make some fire and creative designs for Ukraine that inlcude cultural aspects like the current one. @iamolegsavka3 күн бұрын
Yooo what up bro! Mannn that was a minute ago lol but I believe I would go to the gym around5,6 times a week for about an hour and I think PT had me doing simple exercises/stretches with my right leg around 3x a day. (they took like 5-10 minutes - stuff like stretches/leg raises/quad raises) I think at the time I was doing biking and elliptical and building up workouts with light weights. Everyone's progression is different though! So don't worry if you are at a different point as everyone's body is different. You got it bro, keep going!

At 10 mos...are your legs the same size???if so what exercises would you say helped you get your quad the same size as the non operated leg????and being you got the patellar graft..are you able to kneel without pian on the front of your knee??I'm now at 6 mos and still feel pain while kneeling on it or even sitting on my legs ...same graft
@iamolegsavka7 күн бұрын
@@nessa90 heyo! They were not perfectly the same size as non-operated leg but very close. I am at 12 months now and it is close but you could tell it is still a bit smaller. It took a while tbh I was having issues getting strength back in my quad. My hamstring strength came back quick but for some reason quad took longer because I think i kept relying on my good leg in exercises without realizing it. PT switched it up for me a bit where I had to do a lot of single leg or one sided exercises only on my right surgical leg. This helped immensely and and after a few months I passed all the tests and could tell it was getting much stronger. I also had to do extra single leg reps on quad extensions with high weight and low weight. Also, I started doing them to start out with everyday working out to get more progress instead of only on leg day. This also helped a lot. Right now it feels really good and is probably like 90-95% the same as good leg. Almost there. As for kneeling, there is a bit of discomfort still at 12 months but its not too bad. I can definitely kneel fine but on harder surfaces it is a bit tougher for sure. Soft surface no issues at all. I remember at 6 months it was still tough and painful to kneel for me too. Trust the process, it will be fine soon and time will fly by! You got it and let me know if you have any questions💪
@nessa907 күн бұрын
@iamolegsavka thank you so much for replying. That pretty much sums it up for me....I've been noticing my leg trembles when doing quads extensions..so I've been playing with different weight settings but it feels like it's definitely helping my quad strength...started jogging as well ...will just have to be patient and keep working it out.hearing your leg is back to 95% at 12 months gives me hope..thank you much

@@nessa90 yesss no worries you got it just take it day by day and do extra sets and reps for your surgical leg. I was pretty similar and now it is feeling very good and natural. Awesome that you are having progress💪

Whats ur opinion on this?
