Encounters disappearing when warping is probably my nr. 2 worst thing about the game. Physical warping inaccuracy is probably spot 1.

KSP is a game with lots of shortcomings, but because it's a really fun game, we tend to work around (or even with) these shortcomings to make it an acceptable experience. One of the first tips everyone gets is "Save early, save often". That tip is only given because things can fail for no apparent reason, just because. I lost count how many times I tried to make a colony/research station on another celestial body, and it was just shaking itself apart because of reasons after loading the game or even nearing it. Sure you can clamp it to the ground, which does work for the part clamped down, but it still has a high chance of shaking itself to bits. These problems should be directly fixed, and not by some extra parts or by added actions. A good example is wobbly rockets, you shouldn't need to autostrut a rigged rocket, it should automatically be rigged. It's a great game, and we take its flaws for granted and in time get used to them.

Really like youtr vids. U basically made a list of reasons i stopped playing KSP. Just watched vids of others playing - liek yourself. I think they should finissh/polish up KSP 1 before starting ksp2. Because they dont have neither one. KSP is "playable" at best. Kraken destroys gameplay and for me it was 2 much wasted time. KSP 2.... welll u know. Comment for YT algorythym and a like ofc :-) Hope u find a new "KSP" foryou to make vids from

all good points! approaching a surface base or vessel only for it to jump or explode is my most hated bug. it has ruined my playthrough several times, and usually after many hours had been invested.

No matter the question, KSA can always do better. I've known this studio for years, talked with devs many times and even discussed with them their issues with implementing new stuff. I'm super confident that their game will rock.

They obviously have a big community willing to buy their game. But after KSP2 there is a lot of mistrust. I'm curious, how they will end up dealing with that. Expectations are high after 10 full years and I also feel like we all have an interest in this succeeding - But, I'm still weary. And I feel like after that shitshow, that is also pretty normal to be sceptical. But sceptical or not. This is awesome news and I'd love to see a true successor for KSP. Oh and, before I forget: Kittens obviously ^^

I think the real solar system is just too difficult with realistic technology. Instead, they should use something like the Kepler-90 system, which has a much smaller star and a variety of different planets that are much closer together.

For the easy modding system, they're basically developing the client separate from the actual game, so the game is technically a mod itself loaded by the client. Similar to Factorio, Vintage Story, Bethesda games, etc.

Dean Hall's involvement worries me. Since he is famous for quitting projects he started. Rocketwerks' "Successor" to tycoon games is bare bones as well, only doing a bare minimum product to capitalize the market opportunity. Now that there is a market void for KSP, suddenly rocketwerks is rushing in to create a fill in product. It looks promising, but given RW's and Hall's history, i'm so skeptical. I'll buy into early access if they ever get it to something on par with KSP1 at the very least.

And thats why I will never give money to promisses. I brought a product, I want to play it now, not 2 years later. Its not the first early access to die and will never be the last, this practice should just end. People are becoming tired, even full launches are a buggy mess, not optimized... KSP 2 is more expensive than the 1, why would anyone pay more for less? Go ahead, take your promisses.

My bigger concern is someone that may have bought the studio and would sit on the IP to just produce merch like when jeb went to space and otherwise just stomp on any game product that 'steals their IP/game ideas'. Nintendo are bad enough, we don't need another company that might shut down whole genres of games by IP trolling.

Ksp was sold to Take Two Take two thought they had bought mindless consumers who are used to and happy to pay for early access like they did for KSP. They hired a team to make a demo that didn't run on most ksp gamers PC's and asked release title prices for access to this demo. This of course cost them sales on all fronts. Take two expected hudreds of thousands of people to pay release title prices for a demo that never worked on their machines. Shocked by to fact KSP 2's alpha demo didn't garner AAA release title income take two pulled the plug on the studio they hired and stopped production entirely. This is again a publisher hell situation. The owner of the IP has no respect for the IP or its fans and doesn't understand that KSP's success was a long slow burn. That's not how Take two do business.

I saw an F-1 Engine up close in the Restoration Hangar of the Kalamazoo Air Zoo a couple months ago. That thing was colossal and underneath it felt even more impressive by its sheer scale. To think it was powered by five of them, and many years ago at the Johnson Space Center in Florida I got to see a Saturn V 1st Stage, but from a distance so I didn't appreciate how big the individual engines were until now. You would not want to be on the business end of it while it was on unless you wanted to be barbecued in an instant.
