Albania is the only country in Europe, perhaps in the world, that with such a small area has such great natural beauty that no other country like Germany, Poland or other large countries has it. We have mountains in every city, spring water in every city, 35% of the world's vegetation is found in Albania, natural green rivers, thermal waters, fabulous coastlines, stunning villages, zero politics, ignorant and uneducated people and no culture in Tirana enymore and is a mess in our beatiful Tirana, while in the cities there are good people, Kosovo is better than us in mentality. 🎉

Great video guys!! Tirana looks like a city worth exploring more! Would you say its worth a month long stay (in the right season?). We are headed back there in a few days and hope to experience the Tirana Christmas Market!! It seems like a great city! We loved our one night there on the way to Saranda! Cheers! Mitch and Jan ❤
@midlifetravelbug18 күн бұрын
Thanks guys! I think we both felt that the 3 nights was plenty of time to see the main sites and get what we needed out of Tirana. It's a big city and we typically like to stay in the smaller areas, but there is a lot to see. It's very pedestrian friendly in Tirana. A month would be a stretch for us there and we will break more of that down in the next video too. The Christmas Market sounds like it will be fun, enjoy that :) We would love to be in Europe for the Christmas season.

Great Vid!! Albania has been on my radar for a while now, following a few vloggers that live there. Maybe next video mention some of the prices? I'm sure people are curious ;)) ps... And weather this time of year (November December) would be another very interesting point for North American's that are sun seekers and more adventurous than just going to Mexico.
@midlifetravelbug23 күн бұрын
Thank you! We appreciate the feedback. We will have an upcoming video on all our expenses for our visit in Albania. It’s funny because most of our videos we have prices.. just didn’t on this one. We were there in July and August. We have approximately 5 other videos and a few more to go. Check them out if you like. We mention costs and show our apartment. Thank you for watching, Cheers Chris and Jim
@tombernard461223 күн бұрын
@@midlifetravelbug Will do !! :) ps.. When I saw the people in the water I figured it must have been summertime there(July or August) when you shot the videos. I've been to Greece four times so I'm aware of the seasons, however a lot of north Americans tend to think it's balmy hot in January or February in that part of the Mediterranean

Hi Chris and Jim, great videos! We are fellow Canadians from BC going to Sicily in April. I am amazed at the price of rental cars on your link - so much less than others I've seen. Did you have any issues with your rental I should be concerned about? We used Europecar in France earlier this year, but I see they are more than double the price of your site.
@midlifetravelbugАй бұрын
Thank-you for watching and commenting. Hello from the Okanagan! Yes we have managed to get amazing prices through them. We have posted to offer theses to others, and it helps us a little bit when you use our link. We have now used them in several different countries in Europe and had nothing but excellent experiences, For us the prices have been our main reason for using them. We were sure happy we rented a car in Sicily, the smaller the better if you can. if you have any questions for your trip , please reach out we are happy to help in any way if we can. Have a fantastic trip! Cheers Chris and Jim

Great video! Planning our Sicily trip for 2025 and your tips are very helpful. How did you go flying a drone to get your footage? I’m considering bringing my DJI mini 4 pro.
@midlifetravelbug28 күн бұрын
Hey Sam, sorry for the late reply. Thanks so much for watching, we truly appreciate it. We saw a lot of people flying drones and there were signs for the no drone areas. We didn't bring a drone into the country ourselves though. We do use some stock drone shots in our videos and I've use some locals to do drone shots for us as well. I would make sure you check some of the rules for bringing your DJI into Italy, but unfortunately, I don't have any more information on that. Have an amazing time in Sicily, we absolutely loved it! If you have any more questions, let us know. Cheers, Jim and Chris
