Another key point: If you are currently 65, you would be 5 years younger with 13 month years.

Quarterly statements are going to be a hassle to figure out. Also when do the solstices and equinoxes happen? On the current calendar, it's every 3 months, evenly on about the 20th of the month.

It's a little sad, this has to be comedy - it's simply the way, it is supposed to be. Our current calender isn't logic nor natural, but nothing but a political product, no one thinks about.

I'm pretty sure "someone" is going to issue a decree that the 13th month will be Trumpuary.

It’s because March used to be the first month of the year and they sort of didn’t count January and February because winter and nothing really happened in winter 🥶

We would be paid 13 times instead of 12 times a year, agree ! 😅

Other people: oh no climate change we got snow in april. Me: calandar is an arbitrary human invention for human convenience and culture based on sloar cycles that are prone to change, so it can not be perfectly accurate.....

The Hindu Calendar is the most astronomical calendar because the positions of planets in our solar system provide scientifically precise dates and times, which makes it naturally reasonable. Indians before Christ were truly remarkable, they were scientifically advanced in all ways. They discovered celestial objects, eclipses, gravitational force, the speed of light, the heliocentric theory, the big bang, planet distances, the decimal system, planetary motion, and other phenomena. Not forgetting that all of these astronomical discoveries occurred prior to the formation of modern science. The most stunning thing is that for the past 5000 years, they have been celebrating each complete revolution of Jupiter, as they consider it as an auspicious event.

I know it was meant as a joke. People can laugh all they want. I did too. But after all: This. Just. Makes. Sense. Period. So much better than our current system.
@AArmstrongC13 күн бұрын
I like the idea, but you have to consider that a year is something like 365,25 days. So you will still need leap years with an extra intermission day to compensate that 👌

I think the most overlooked joke here is that they'll make those inconsistent holidays fixed, because he's right. Those holidays "float" because they're based on lunar calendars with a 28 day month cycle, and this new system is too. Believe it or not, the ancients were actually fairly clever.
