This is what happens when software developers don't thoroughly test and debug new software. All companies do it. They are using the consumers to debug it for them because they're lazy and don't have the time or patience to test it before they release it. So this video is showing consumers working for Sol Ark doing their job for them.

The porch and gable are awesome. I feel like it turned your earth sheltered structure into a home. It looked really cool before, but this really added character and curb appeal. Love it! Can't wait to see it with everything capped with the aluminum rich bent. Old guys w tools calender sounds like a great idea. Lol.

Looking good Your porch really accents the house very nicely. I never considered a covered porch until now that is. We are starting to cover our upstairs porch next week. Until now we had no intention of covering the upstairs porch. We realized two things that made us decide to put the porch roof on. #1 We had over the winter snows an ice dam build up on the upstairs porch that we never expected. #2 We realized that we could not leave the windows open for ventilation if we were not absolutely positive their was 0% chance of rain. We discovered our #2 concerns after we did the plaster on the shell walls and discovered that while getting help was good, the huge plaster job raised the humidity inside the dome to 95% and the chemical reaction of the mud curing raised our temperature inside the dome to a bit over 90 degrees at times. But due to the chance of rains (even as little as 20%) we had to leave the upstairs windows closed during the night or our absence to prevent water from coming into the house. So we decided to get the porch covered. However the #1 concern made the case for porch covering by itself. We will likely use that porch covering for rainwater collection too. It is really a learning experience for sure. Hope your old guys with tools calendar is a hit. Sound fun.

Wow, great points! For us it was also about water and snow build up. We will be putting a covered porch over every entry because that was where water came into our house. Covered porches will make all the difference. Can’t believe you got the inside walls finished!!! Such a huge job we still need to get to👍

@@CreatingASimplerLifeOffGrid Well we have the room above the garage to do but can't due to all the totes on multiple shelves from our recent move. could not believe the amount of stuff we accumulated while living 38 years in one place. Note: We also have the garage to do the shell walls too. We also painted the home shell walls in eggshell white. My goodness what a difference the shiny white walls make on the brightness of the interior of the home. cant wait to get the solar tubes installed now. What a difference in light those will make.

Why don't you place solar panels vertically and so the snow don't cover them?
@CreatingASimplerLifeOffGrid7 күн бұрын
Solar panels are always placed at an angle for optimal solar gain. Trust me, as soon as the sun comes out the snow melts off them very fast.

It may require screening or filtering the material before spraying. Stuff like fiber reinforcing material won't go through the spray gun as well as any dry or congealed bits that may be in the original storage container.
