They have a couple plywood boards out so people can walk out to the thick ice at the last place around here to go ice fishing. A couple doorknobs fell through at another place the other day. I didn't even go out ice fishing this year because there was still open water on one of the lakes. I usually walk across Lake Monona on the way back from the Madison Fishing Expo but it looks like the whole lake except for one bay was open this year driving by.

I fish the lakes around Madison after midnight. It's mostly a ghost town then. Catch some monster fish then. That is when the biggest walleye and catfish are caught.

We caught onto this technique up here in Canada a few years ago smallmouth fishing. Definitely a go to technique now. Finicky walleye can’t refuse it. Great video guys

Love watching your videos. My grandson Jack, lives for fishing .He is 19 and lives in in Minnesota/ North Dakota area and fishes all the area and last I saw him I told him to check out your videos and he said "Oh, I watch those guys all the time!"
