I drove 3.5 hours, 258 miles north to spend 45 hours failing at ice camping & fishing alone in -28° temperatures for my 45th Birthday!

There was a moment I worried about getting out before it was too late! As soon as I lost my Big Buddy it was game over! That Little Buddy didn’t stand a chance!

That was a pretty rough outing there Phil. I recently went ice camping, my 4th time ever. I'm questioning if it's worth it, at least in my area where the night bite is awful. Glad ya got out safely!

I’ve yet to get into a great night bite to this day. I’m also starting to question if it’s worth it! I learned a lot about what not to do next time… I’ll chalk it up to learning lessons!
