Do I start with wrist extension + pronation or work up to extension multiple sets first and then slowly introduce pronation?

Hello, Sir. My right hand has just been injured for a week. Is it necessary for conservative treatment for a month? Is it necessary to start rehabilitation after conservative treatment?

A month or so ago I went to do my straight bar pushdowns and my right shoulder just felt a bit achy. Never had a moment where I remember hurting it. Still hasn't quite got right and I haven't been able to push extensions save for for overhead, those cause no discomfort. I'm gonna start incorporating some of the internal rotation exercises and hopefully that fixes me up. Thanks!

Ima able to do a lot of the exercises if not all of them, it's been 14 days since my sprain I'm certain it was a grade 1 and 2 for the ligamamets. Idk what to do 😅 maybe I'm just expecting to be fully healed by now and cause I did everything right. Didn't even use ice or pills except once at first but that gave me such a false confidence I opted to deal with it. I could go on about details but I assure you I kept it safe as much as possible and I slowly progressed with weight tolerance and so on. I used to be able to sit on my heels and I JIST can't, d sometimes when I move rotationally it spasms bad. Calf raised are extremely limited too. I used to have crazy rom now I can feel my claves just quit inf ear of my ligaments stretching. Am I rushing it?
@Anotherclevername20
@Anotherclevername20 21 сағат бұрын
You know what based on the video I should be grateful. It's just some ROM I'm able to do a lot. I gotta keep pumping the fluid around the liamgments with gentle motion and heal up)) 2 weeks for a grade 2 to be weight bearing and walking well is pretty Impression. I can do squats, lunges, even calf raises. Seeing the comments I can see that I am really glad now that I did things right

Love when you upload new videos! Always a great source of information. But if I keep going 1 back and forth with pain (gets better then gets worse again) How should I go about it? I do everything slow and controlled and with little weight. Can it be my progression with weight that goes too fast? Would love to hear your take :)

I’ve injured both my knees multiple times and never followed through with getting any mri or any medical advise. My knees buckle with the smallest jump movement or if I step wrong sometimes. They go inward and feel as if my knee drops below my shin. I want to get back to how I used to be, I’ve been doing what I can calisthenics wise while not injuring myself. I don’t have money or insurance to afford surgery but I want bulletproofed knees. I have a pinch nerve in my right hip that hurt in the top of my right glute. I sit straight up against a wall and try to straighten my legs together but it comes with extreme pain in my lower back upper glut . I feel like every time I train my body gets tighter even tho I try to stretch out and keep conscious about both my knees but I don’t even take the chance of playing basketball or jumping on a trampoline and I’m only 24 years old! I’m committed and strong. I’m 260 and can do 20 push-ups straight 100 sit-ups and 50 squats and small sets of sissy squats but I just don’t know if I need to start somewhere else, because I slipped a little at work and felt a popping sensation in my right knee like I do before but it wasn’t as extreme and my whole right side is feeling locked up. If anyone has any advice please chime in. I have dreams of going on great hikes at national parks once I have the money and playing sports again but I don’t have money right now for special equipment it I can spare some for maybe resistance bands! Again if your reading this any advice helps. I’m COMMITTED BUT IM JUST A BIT LOST

I've had something like this forever -- I caused the problem by continuing to low bar squat when my shoulder was beaten up -- stupid move. At its worst, I couldn't do push-ups, push a heavy door or do pull-ups. Physios were stumped. Gym trainers tried some things and nothing really worked. Then I stumbled upon a page talking about biceps tendinopathy, and it had an exercise that worked really well for me (caveat: for me, singular). The exercise was ... supinated front dumbbell raises. 3 sets of 15 with low weights (progressively heavier dumbbells of 5kg, 6kg, 7kg over the weeks). I do this routine before _every_ gym session as a warmup and it allows me to do most movements pain-free. When I do this routine daily for a few weeks, my pain almost completely vanishes. I still can't flat bench, but that's about the only limitation. Worth a try if anyone's struggling.

Interested in menopause belly, after 4 children too. Strengthen tighten core, TA, rectus, oblique, lower back. A diagram with written information, a person showing exercises to do. Perhaps discuss if core can be lazy? Asleep? Thus voluntary ignition needed?! Thx.

Hi, after 6 weeks of exercises the pain from tennis epicondylitis has reduced by 50%, but it still hurts a little. In your opinion, can I gradually start playing tennis again or is it better to wait until the pain has completely stopped due to the risk of throwing away everything I've done up to now? Thank you!

Begining of january this year I tore the left ACL and broke the meniscus, had a strong pain and a swollen knee for a couple of days, then I got MRI and went to see an orthopedic. I was super worried because at 59 I still work in physycal theatre and will have a lot of work during the summer. Since I had no pain at all and I recover the ROM very quickly he opted for rehab for 3 months then we would decide if surgery is a better option. I just had my first performances of the year and long mountain hiking, and my knee feels very stable and well. I still don't feel like trying lotus postures while practicing yoga, but I'm so happy about the recovery, I had no idea I could recover without surgery

Do you think I will lose all my muscle if I have a rotator cuff tear. The past two weeks I haven’t been able to lift weights except legs at all. I talked to my friends who definitely had way worse shoulder injuries and I know mine isn’t as bad as them, but I’ll find out results at my mri next month.

This was a phenomenal comprehensive review of why it's important, what exercises, frequency and duration and the escalation to more difficult weight-bearing exercises. I have ruptured my plantar fascia three times now. The last time I was put in a soft boot for 8-10 weeks. My podiatrist never suggested physical therapy to recover. As a result, I continued to have pain and discomfort to the degree that I couldn't walk. Normally they put me back into a boot for another 6 to 8 weeks. I came out of that. The same issues. What did the boot do, it stripped my leg from the glute down to the foot of any strength and affected mobility. Mobility. The most obvious observation is that when standing on my right foot I cannot get onto my toes. No matter how hard I try, I cannot lift my heel, not even to slip a piece of paper underneath of it. That's weakness and it's weakness that stresses the ligaments and joints in the foot. Your video covers so much of what I wish I had before I put on a boot and after I took off the boot. I'm a year and a half into this miserable experience. I have spent thousands of dollars on orthotics and images. I have now seen four doctors, two podiatrists and two orthopedic specialists and I'm on my third round of physical therapy. Just because they're doctors doesn't mean that they have the answers or that they're going to give you good treatment that will solve your problem. I can honestly say my first podiatrist really did a poor job of evaluating and coming up with a good treatment plan from a to z. I got steroid injections. I even had my blood extracted spun and re-injected into my foot. Again, thousands of dollars spent many hours of work lost and it's taken me completely out of my activities, like tennis, boxing, swimming, running, hiking. I feel cheated and demoralized. I really appreciate the video you put together here. I'm definitely subscribing. Thank you so much

I had a bucket handle tear of my right knee’s meniscus. After surgery my patella was clicking. The PT told me to roll the IT band. I did this and the patella stopped clicking as it went back into it proper placement over the knee joint. And that is my story and I am sticking to it. Bottom line: rolling the IT band ended the problem.
