What a great video this was! My LDL consistently comes back in the 140-155 range, but have good ranges in all other areas and am otherwise healthy. I was initially worried because the standard was supposed to be LDL less than 100. To be fair my doctor doesn't seem to be that worried and has not even recommended a statin. After watching this, it goes to show that there may be other more important factors than LDL levels that can contribute to heart disease. I've also learned that drug companies have a lot to gain by over prescribing drugs.

Lol 😂 ldl is low when you dont eat enough so you die naturally from old age, you guessed it you will have low cholesterol. See the graphs for yourselves without malnutrition and make your own mind out of it. But i think it is obvious

I just had to laugh, several times, when Malabama was reading. I don't mean anything bad by this, I think it was just my mind playing games with me. I kept hearing what is your "icky guy"? I would laugh to myself and then say to myself "well today the icky guy was the dirty dishes in the sink." Tomorrow it's will be something, or someone, else. 😂😂 Love the show. It took me a little while to get used to no video, but I'm proud to say I am embracing this change!

I just got my lab work back form a physical for life insurance. My total cholesterol was 186, HDL seemed low at 50, LDL at 121 but my triglycerides were 74 and fasting glucose 95, with a1c at 5.4 So I have low HDL but no indication of diabetes, or prediabetes and low tri. I'm not sure what to think except I'm going to go eat some more hamburgers, eggs and wings while I drizzle my salad with tons of EV olive oil.

I avoid doctors entirely. Lots of red meat , farm chores , vinyasa yoga , hiking . Willing to go to a doctor with a broken bone , that’s about it. 63 years old, lots of energy.

How about asking your gift giver to pay for the groceries (or whatever - vet, home improvement store, etc.) of the person in front of them at checkout, and then share the experience with you.
I have lupus, in my case, my body tried to reject my liver, so I got a lot of damage. My doctor keeps insisting on me taking statins, and it always makes my enzymes go up dangerously high.

This guy is such a phony. Not a real, practicing MD...graduated with an MD and may have done a psych residency. He cherry picks his literature and uses badly put together illogical fallacies. Its sad so many people eat up his bullshit because it allows them to feel ok about their bullshit diets.

I think I'll stick to my statin. My family has a genetic condition that causes high cholesterol. My family is naturally thin, none had diabetes - in fact my grandma had hypoglycemia. Every single one had heart disease by the age of 60. Many had heart attacks by then (including my grandma who had one in her 40's). While I understand other things can contribute to heart disease, saying LDL doesn't contribute is dangerous.

It’s great as well because you produce much less waste and less stress on Mother Earth. My bin and recycle only go out twice a year lol. And you your incoming could easily be more than your outgoings! And if you don’t live by money then you manage to save! That’s a word that isn’t used much today because the greedy big sellers want all your money

I don't 'totally' agree this time... I think there're some quality items that shoudn't be thrown away... EVER! (I have extra space to keep it, I must confess) because fashion circles back every x decades. I'm using a crocheted top that belonged to my grandma and loving it! (don't need to mention that it's hard to find such a quality model these days...) 😉

Looks like she is making something up. To legitimatize herself to make money. Yes she can write a good book or argument. However, this is one of the root causes of o you called me Mommy. Who fing cares. Now you have all these people jumping on a band wagon. I don’t like the word panties or mommy. Ok who cares. Seems like one is looking for attention. So let’s write a book about words that trigger me. Then create a culture of young adults who what to be speech police and social justice warriors. Society is tired of this type of behavior. Or you’re so great and we just bow down to you because you don’t like the word panties. Guess you need to get out of your bubble of socialites to understand the real world. You sound like a toddler.
