I had about 200 tarot decks, candle stands and other things too but I felt they were weighing me down and didn't make me a better tarot reader. So now I have less decks and I feel my readings are clearer and more concentrated. I only have decks that I absolutely love to use and it works. Thank you guys for your show, I learn so much from it and it's a great food for thought💜

I know this is a very conplicated topic to talk about, so I am glad you gave your opinion about it ❤❤. To me, apart from religion, minimalism and veganism are spiritual choices I made ❤❤.

Love the audio version so much. Honestly, I am not into all the "conversation clutter" meaning I don't care to analyze things so much, beliefs of others, ect. Too noisy to me. I am very spiritually based and connected and like to be quiet and very private about it. To me it is a simple, graceful, private , silent , sacred thing. :)

I can't believe he said that about Spirituality. Aspects like Prayer and meditation are not practices we do in order to escape our problems but they enable us to face life's challenges with courage , hope and understanding.

I want to make a comment about suffering and reaching for certain things to help relieve that suffering. And this has to do with ouija boards (as mentioned) and TK's recent conversion to Catholicism. Par. 2116 of the CCC says that "All forms of divination are to be rejected:..." Moreover, the "magisterium" does not teach any church members to turn to a ouija board as a source of comfort or answers or hope.

People forget the Pharisees 😂 Their pride made them the farthest away from their actual faith. Book of Matthew said “clean your face and go out to the world, your Father sees what you do in secret.” The consumerism of religious practice has distanced us from actually PRACTICING what one’s religion preaches. This conversation is hard for others who are so tied to their religion as a part of their identity that they will walk away from differences and that is what is really sad. Differences are what make us uniquely human. We can learn so much from one another because we all see the world with our own eyes.

The Pharisees are thought of as the "bad guys". Do some people blame the Pharisees for all the woes of the world?

Giving your life to Christ is nothing like “Putting a bandaid on a ax wound” I’m sorry. Giving your suffering to Jesus is not temporary, if you lay it down at his feet, surrender whatever it is that is causing you pain. That was kind of an ignorant way to define another persons belief system. ❤

I've been told by some religious preachers that Jesus is going to destroy a wicked world. What will the world's response be? What might be the last seven words of the world? "Forgive him Father, for (and here are the last seven) he knows not what he is doing.

I’m a Christian and I can kind of see their point of view here. For background I grew up in the prosperity gospel. I know many people who come to Christ thinking that he’s a magical genie that will solve all their problems. Then when they still have a mess to deal with they abandon Christ, because they were actually sold a bill of goods (come to Jesus for health, wealth and prosperity). Giving your life to Christ and coming to Jesus for Jesus alone is freeing. The best gift in the world is salvation. But coming to Jesus to get something (stuff, wealth, health) will always leave you empty and can just become an “add on” or clutter. Coming to Christ won’t automatically fix your situation if that’s your reasoning behind it. Just my thoughts! 🤍

@@lindsaysimplified "Giving your life to Christ and coming to Jesus for Jesus alone is freeing. The best gift in the world is salvation." In what way does one come to Jesus alone if one does not do what Jesus commands? On one occasion JESUS is depicted as saying: “But why do you call Me ‘Lord, Lord,’ and not do the things which I say?" (Luke 6:46) I can understand in what way minimalism can help free a person from unimportant attachments. On one occasion, Jesus is depicted to have said: "So you cannot become my disciple without giving up everything you own." (Luke 14:33 NLT) Also, some people claim to be "born again". And it is ok to ask questions. For example, Jesus is depicted as having said: "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God." (John 3:3 NKJV) So ask the person who makes such a claim: What exactly did you see?

I just want to understand your prediction. If I'm suffering, and I lay my suffering down at the feet of Jesus (wherever those feet are), and surrender whatever is causing me pain, Jesus will take up my suffering and that what I gave him is not temporary?

That is unfortunate that you’re willing to leave when someone has different views and ideals than you. Oh how the Pharisees cheer in their pompous pride of their faith, but even Jesus asked them who is without sin shall throw the first stone? Having different views is what makes us human and to fully live a life of love and joy. Peace be unto you, namaste, ciao. “Why am I choosing this faith?”
