How far of a walk is it from the entrance of the park to the sculpture?

It’s very close. Maybe 75 yards from parking area.

Funny sign at the end was a marketing sign for "Throwback Gamez" which is a neat little shop where you can find video games, consoles, controllers, hand-held games, cards, figures, and more. I haven't been there myself yet but definitely going to make a visit along with Heritage Barbecue as soon as I can.

The Lincoln in Fremont was done by the Mullins co. of Salem, OH. One of several similar statues across the US. Artist was John Segesman who worked for Mullins.
@popshiking6 күн бұрын
Thx for filling in with some more facts.
@lincolnsculpturesproject58547 күн бұрын
The bearded Lincoln in the Studebaker Museum is not a Volk despite the signage. It looks more like a plaster bust by Max Bachman made by the Caproni and Brother Co. of Boston, Mass.
@popshiking6 күн бұрын
Interesting
@lincolnsculpturesproject58547 күн бұрын
The statue in Prospect Park in Brooklyn is not the first statue erected to Lincoln. The first was in San Francisco but was destroyed in the SF earthquake. The oldest existing full-sized statue of Lincoln is in Washington DC and was dedicated in 1868. Sculptor was Lott Flannery.
