Wow! Great Video, Jeff! Looks like such a beautiful wonder land. I'm a sucker for some great powder . I am faily expirenced in the ways of boarding. But unfortunately, I will be up and boarding the mountain on Friday all by lonesome. I live in almost as low as you can go in Michigan and was hoping to get a personal tour of such a breathtaking place if you are available. Feel free to leave to leave me in the dust if I can keep up. But I would sure love a chance

Old skier but finally bought my own skis!! Should you keep skis in ski bag... I've got inner sleeves (fabric) and a Dakine Fall Line roller bag was thinking of putting both on and then storing in the garage which has a small permanent low temp heater for my classic car.

You forgot to mention that Ghost Trail is the longest ski run in the midwest at two miles long.

Would've loved to have caught up with you guys at Brighton... was there in early April a couple weeks after you and experienced the same on my last day: 24" of light powder.

I see lots of shrubbery sticking out even in the powder. Is this the type of place I’d want to use some rock skis or would my nice skis probably be fine? Don’t wanna put any unnecessary core shots in the bents 🥲
@shaggys_skisАй бұрын
It all depends on the snowpack. Last winter was one of the all-time warmest and least snowy for Mount Bohemia, so rock skis were a very good idea. In a typical winter there, they open around New Years and close in mid April, but outside the first and last two weeks of the season you would generally be fine on non-rock skis.

Did you guys use any CF in the 45/-45 directions? I could only see the uni going in the 0, ( I’m a hobby ski builder have had mixed luck with CF layups)
@shaggys_skis2 ай бұрын
Yes, all of our carbon skis have carbon running at 0/+45/-45. You can see some of it at @7:11.

I heard that except from the first tune to set base bevel, you never touch the base edge again, but now im not sure.

What kind of material do you guys use as topsheet and how do you put a print on the topsheet?
@shaggys_skis4 ай бұрын
Our topsheets are made out of clear nylon and have digital prints sublimated on them with a custom screenprinted background.

What would the ideal width be for northern New England large resort on/off trail? This would be part of an existing quiver.
@shaggys_skis4 ай бұрын
The 95mm Ahmeek 95 would be ideal for that!

Interesting take... Bohemia has the absolute best terrain in the Midwest hands-down and the Copper Country is where Shaggy started building skis over 100 years ago! This event is a great time and we invite anyone to come out and have fun! And the minimal cost for a pass is amazing!
