Super cool love it man. You will be an FPV pro soon. The speedybee flight controllers have been very solid for me in my wings, I haven't managed to break one yet.

The old adage of "If it looks right, it'll fly right" ... Great looking plane and flight, thanks for sharing. Keep up the great work :)

Flight controllers have a lot of functions, not just stabilization and RTH. They'll show you your ground speed and estimated airspeed, speed and direction of the wind, direction home, all battery stats you can think of, distance traveled, efficiency, artificial horizon, altitude. Not to mention autonomous and semi-autonomous flight, autolaunch.... In other words, yeah, bite that bullet, put it in your nicest craft and enjoy. By nicest here I don't mean the most stable, fc will fly even a severely tail heavy plank. For me, fpv plane needs to fly for at least 10 minutes, so put it in the prop driven one

LOL that wind noise near the beginning sounds like the heavy breathing fighter pilots do when pulling high Gs. As ever, it's hard to tell how much is due to the model's inherent flying characteristics, how much is due to your controller setup skills, and how much due to your magic thumbs. But very nice work, and it'll be fun watching you on your FPV journey! :-)

Very cool. Once you get stabilization for the cam it`s really going to be a blast. Also a GPS module would be awesome as you can fly a couple miles away and not worry too much as long as you planned your batt. life out.

Do you want to keep it old school? You can fix a lot of your problems with a flight controller. Auto launch means you just give the plane half a toss and its gone, you can setup inav or ardu to just put the plane in loiter over launch until you are ready to get on the sticks. Then you can setup the hud to include things like speed, even air speed if you add on a pitot tube. Otherwise you can can get ground speed via a GPS. You can also get virtual airspeed and direction with only the GPS. Even if you like the old school feel of control you can always turn off the gyro assist but still get the auto launch, loiter, etc when you want them. A plane that large should have no problem carrying a FC.

\please watch a few INAV how to vids , think you will be surprised at what it can do, And I just need to learn how work a 3d printer.

Nice flight. Don’t ya just love the way how the bottom goggles hang over eyes like a Chicano wearing a bandana? Don’t think I’ll ever get use to that.

I was thinking it would be cool to make this plane an FPV model with a night vision camera. Then I see this video. Maybe I had seen you mention it was planned for FPV before then forgot. Black LW-PLA and Night Vision Cam. I don't know would probably be pretty cool.

I have a request. Could you design and fly the 'sport jet diamond aviation design' because i think it would be a very light and fast jet. Please consider this one, because it such a beautiful piece of aviation. I would love to see your interpretation of this jet brother. All love🙌.

Bite the bullet. Learn the flight controller. Osd is super helpful with speed, altitude, batt voltage, plus auto launch, loiter mode, auto trim servos. It just makes flying fpv so much more enjoyable and less work flying and worrying about things.

may be a bit unrelated to the video but i have two questions 1: what would you say is the average airspeed of a 50mm EDF plane, like the viggen. 2: how do you determine where to put the CG-bumps in your designs?
@hotlapkyle3 күн бұрын
@@philip4580 if say my avg 50mm will max out around 75mph some hit 100+. CG is a guessing game, I’ve build enough planes to have a general idea. You can use online calculator tools to get you close, you really need to fly the design to know for sure. The plane will tell you. I place the bumps slight forward of where I like to fly them

Greetings for Australia, love your work! Have purchased the Dagger 1, Smiggen and NGAD, would it be possible to request the SU-34 'Fullback'? Its one cool looking plane, SU-27 on Steroids. Would buy that one in a second👍👍

Very nice plane! :) I have a question that I've been wondering for a long time, which 3D software do you use? Keep up the nice videos!

Looking good! Do you know the Batwing from the Tim Burton movies? Do you think that would work with the double rudder?

Is it possible to buy a plane from you? I'm in California.

@@AaronsEscapades I wish I could ship them. Unfortunately 3d printed planes don’t ship well. I highly suggest buying a 3d printer and learning how to use it. It’s getting better every month and continues to improve
