I like making piano music like this however I only use two piano tracks one for left hand and one for the right. Having a 3rd part makes it sound like its 3 hands playing. For the 3rd element I'd use a organ.

That goes hard. Another thing I just realized you can do is automate the rate so you get 16th notes.

I am trying to figure out if Bitwig allows to edit more than one midi track at once, e.g. in layers, or does it show midi as piano roll only as one single track at a time?

Do you always add a sub and if so what does it play. Does the sub play a progression that's different from what the dub basses are doing?

Bitwig combined with the Reason Rack is literally a free ticket to outer space. It doesn't get better than that.

In using the same input signal of the channel to make the eq dynamic, why not just use the envelop follower?

One other thing you could set up is to lower the rise and fall controlls of the audio sidechain, so they follow the short transients of the drumms better.

11:05 - if you ctrl+click on the knob you can just type in "E0" and it will set appropriate frequency :)
@Artek6043 жыл бұрын
5:35 - in Dynamics you have Sc FX slot so instead of doing ghost sidechain track put there some effects that will make the trigger signal shorter, e.g. an EQ that will only let the high frequency signals through and Transient Shaper that will shorten the release and/or accentuate the attack
