Hi @wake9tv ! Can you make a full review on the new Max ?
@ShawnKeeling-t5h13 күн бұрын
Just curious on when you expect to have the full review of the 2025 Supra SA. We are working on our order with our dealer for our 3rd Supra and it will either be another SL or back to the SA. Your review will definitely help in our decision. Your videos are greatly appreciated and have been educational over the years.

Hi. Would love some advice. Looking to upgrade from our 2019 Moomba Craz Pro and deciding between 2024 SV450, 2024 SA450 and a 2022/23 SL 450 (there is a 2024 SL in the mix but it's a bit of a reach). We are a crew of 3 - 7 and use the boat primarily for surfing. Would love to get your thoughts on which would produce the best surf experience between those boat options...Thanks!

Hi @wake9 I hope you are well! I am looking to upgrade from our 2019 Heyday WT-Surf to something with a surf system and better interior/stereo. I am looking at a 2018 MC X23, 2018 SL450 or new a 2023 MB B52 Classic or 2024 Moomba Max. We are 80% surf, 20% cruise. What would you recommend?

Might not be as plush as that SE, but WM now has even bigger bags adding 1600 additional rear ballast. Add about 5-600lbs of lead and it’ll surf as good as any boat. And the options!!! Great video

Any tips for an older style boat? We have an 07 Moomba XLV, 1200lb ski locker sack, and 1100lb sacks in each rear locker. Looking for recommendations on what pitch/roll to start with. We use a Wave shaper which helps a ton, but feel like the wave is inconsistent and could be better. Cheers!

Premier Watersports saved my a** a few years back. Drove down from Michigan for Memorial Day weekend. First day in the water after getting it back from a Supra dealer in Michigan. Hit the throttle, engine revs but no go!! Got towed back to the dock to find my prop free spinning on the shaft! Called up Premier late on late on a Friday. Showed up right at closing, they stuck around for a bit after to help me install a new prop key since my dealer used one that was maybe a third the length it was supposed to be. My next boat will definitely be purchased through Premier!!!

@jbandit2044 our tower advises against pulling a tube, due to the weight, especially with multiple riders

Wow…Excellent content. I am new to the channel and am just starting to go through the past videos. Our family is super interested in trying the sport of Wake Surfing, and we are now researching possible boats (looking at the used market to start and then once we confirm our commitment to the sport, will upgrade in a season or two. Question - Are there any used boats around the 30k range that you would recommend looking at? There is a Heyday WT-1 near us for exactly 30k but weren’t sure if that made sense or an older boat…Great videos! Thanks

My favorite value boats are the moomba max or the moomba tykon, best bang for your buck. MUCH better than the heyday in my opinion. We have reviewed both of those boats recently, check them out.

I bought a '23 Max last year, I did the wakemakers bag upgrades right away. The goofy wave at 9.5* pitch and 5-7 roll around 11.2 mph is amazing with surf tab around 70-80. I cannot get the regular wave to clean up no matter what.. I put some lead in the back to get pitch at 9.5 and roll at -1 or -2 around 11.2mph and the wave just isn't clean.. I can start to clean it up with like 70-80 surf tab but never with 60. Any tips? This video makes the regular wave look amazing.

Can you clarify the positive and negative values for roll? 0 to -2 degrees for regular means the left side of the boat is slightly lower than the right side? 2 to 4 degrees for goofy means the right side of the boat is slightly higher than the left side of the boat?
@wake9tv6 ай бұрын
-2 is 2 degrees leaning to the port side, +4 degrees is 4 degrees leaning to the starboard side.

I have a 2021 MAX, it was the first year for the upgraded 4,000# ballast. I have added the 860 bow fit bag and upgraded to the 1345's in the rear. Total 5550 in water ballast. I believe I will take out some lead and go back in with 400# to start with. If I understand correctly, fill everything 100%, put lead in the center of the boat, then use autowake to get it to the pitch and roll I set. Once it gets that and empties water in places to achieve that, I fill back to 100%, turn off autowake, move lead around to get the pitch and roll I thought was the best? Do I follow that correctly? I have watched several of your videos and want to verify before I go and try to set this up. Thank you.

I recently bought a 2024 Craz and I'm really glad i found your site and this vid. I've learned a lot from this and your many other videos. There's probably no reason for you to do another video on the 24 Craz since it's identical to 23. But if you do and offer up some other settings I'll be watching. I'm enjoying your settings in this vid. I had to use lead to get the 9.5 pitch with only a couple people in the boat. My question is how do the flow 3 yaw plates deploy? Do i take it on faith that they deploy automatically when i use default 60/70 plate positions. Is it all the same for manual mode and AW? Thanks.. keep the great content coming
@wake9tv7 ай бұрын
Thank you, yes, in our testing, the default settings for the surf plates are the best, you can trust them. The only thing is whether you have the flow 3 or flow 2 system. If you have flow 3, and have lead, you should probably turn off the "dynamic" part of the flow 3 system, ask your dealer if you are not sure on that.
@hwpno37 ай бұрын
Thanks! I have Flow 3. The Displacement Integration thing in the menu is defaulted to off. That's the only thing that has something to do with the yaw plates. It's a mystery. Beyond that, I'll have check with my dealer. I've been using manual surf with the lead and letting out about 10% of water from the bow bag. I'm making your settings of 9.5 pitch and -1.5 roll for regular foot. Working fine so far. And I do use their factory settings for the plates. I assume the little Yay tabs are happily doing their thing. I appreciate your response
@wake9tv7 ай бұрын
@@hwpno3 yes, you want displacement int. off, that will always fully deploy the yaw plates. So if those are on default, that should give you the best wave, and with displacement int. OFF. your welcome.
