Some recipes call for milk to be poured over rolls before going into the oven. That looks good too. 🍥‼️

Very good video and I like the recipe. Any idea how long will last outside or should I keep it in the fridge? I am asking because I may do a lot of it.

I prefer the drizzle to sprinkling sugar on top. I don’t like sprinkled sugar on top of baked goods

Mhh didn't get good results at all... I get amazing results making breads at 70% hydration so I thought I was ready for a ciabatta recipe... but it was a disaster and I wanted to know why. First of all, when you calculate the ratio of hydration with the water and flour it comes to 83.5% just with those two things, but with the addition of 30 ml of oil and 150 gr of leaven it became a wet mess right away. It didn't look like her dough at all. I used a scale so I don't think I made a mistake. I used bread flour and my leaven was really active when I put it in... Could the oil be too much?

Thank you for this!! I love sourdough cinnamon rolls! I’ve made your original version & froze half of them, raw. I must not have wrapped them properly because I wound up having to feed the baked frozen ones to my chickens. 😢 Glad they didn’t go to waste, but I would’ve preferred being able to eat them myself! Lol I am currently making your updated version as I type! 😊 I will follow your instructions on freezing some. Thanks again! ❤

My starter isn't rising. I was told to feed it a 1:1:1 ratio & to keep it in my microwave for 12 hours than to screw on the mason jar lid & in the fridge. I did. It didn't. Do I throw it out? Idk. I followed the instructions to the letter & I was REALLY looking forward to making the Berry Crumble Cake. 🤔😟

It’s dormant in the fridge. If you want to continuously use it, keep it out.

Has anyone made a regular loaf of bread using stiff sourdough starter? I know it can be done. I heard that you can use any bread recipe that there is and use the stiff sourdough starter.

People obsessed with weighing everything. We're not making commercial bread for sale 😂 Some people are technical bakers others just get baking from the get go and some like me one day it just clicks! After 8 months of baking four times a month I gave up on the measurements because eyeballing and feeling the dough finally clicked for me. I also now feed my starter as needed and without measuring. So happy because I used to be afraid of baking and sourdough starters 😂 I thank my baker friends who kept giving starter! 😅

Can I use discard starter?
@danip.324510 сағат бұрын
You’re not depending on it for the rise, it’s all flavor. So as long as you’re ok with the stronger sourdough from an older starter, the discard is fine

So I follow directions and my crackers could use probably a little more cheese, little more salt and they are very hard so I have to figure out a way for them not to be hard.

Thank you my deceased aunt used to make a white frosting very light yet a tad of crisco n have never found it also it had milk. If you want to try n see if you can make it without a recipe I'm sure it have powder sugar n vanilla. It was so light it could float away n didn't milk either
