I dont know why you don't have a million subscribers! You are clear, concise and gentle. You make it fun and not so intimidating. Keep up the good work.

Thank you so much for that kind comment Karen! My whole purpose for starting the channel was to give you the confidence to make anything and everything with your sourdough starter! It can be intimidating, but with a few tips it doesn't have to be:) Thank you for being here!

Love watching your channel for ideas. I am new to sourdough. When you say fed active, how long after feeding is it considered fed and active.
@dailysourdough2 жыл бұрын
It really depends on your starter, you'll notice that your starter will rise to its peak and then begin to fall. Once it falls to it's lowest point I wouldn't really consider that active anymore. I find my peak point is usually 4-12 hours after feeding. If I don't want to make something right away and need active starter, I'll store my active starter in the fridge to suspend the "fed and active" status for another 24 hours or so. Hopefully that makes sense!

Love this, thanks ❣️ What olive oil are you using?

I use an extra virgin olive oil! Any kind you have will work!

I watched a really cute Italian lady make it and it would give you more guidance although she uses yeast you can modify the recipe for sour dough. I have to look up her channel. Buono something. I found her when I searched for lentil soup. She sings while she cooks in Italian. So cute

I wish your other recipe wasn’t still up because I made it today before I saw this video. 🤷🏼♀️
