Wife and I were there. We came home with some nice stuff I'm using an engraver to chisel the garnets out of some of the rocks. The walk carrying buckets and tools and rocks back to the car can get long and heavy. I wish we lived closer, we were in Maine visiting family, and we live in Iowa.

I want to go farther up past the bridge from the Ausable creek, to Johns Brook to see if I can find better specimens, but those 3 to 4 houses tend to make me stay away from that area. Under the bridge is where I take my strongest flashlight to spot the *flash* and have found many as some don't do that. Anyways, Nice finds.
