Anyone with the time, money and inclination could do this, so why make such a big deal out of it? I trekked to the Annapurna Base Camp in 1976, but I don't brag about it.

Old frail loser who can't cross a shallow river without breaking bones decides to post a video of his failure!?? I was part of a group with members older than this clown... and we completed the entire circuit with no major injuries.

Hi , can i know exactly when did you do this trek ?
@projectbase80008 ай бұрын
Hi sorry for delay, and thanks for your question. We did Manaslu from late August to mid September - earlier than the normal trekking season because we timed it to go with a climbing expedition. Trekkers usually go later in the season when it is not so rainy. However if you’re wanting to do the side trip to base camp later in the season note that it may be empty as most expeditions would be finished by then.

The Yak (Poephagus grunniens) is a large cattle native to Central Asia, it is the second largest living cattle species, the second largest living bovine, and the second largest living bovid in the world, it is the only extant species of the genus Poephagus and the closest living relative of both the European Bison (Bison bonasus) and the American Bison (Bison bison), the scientific name of the yak means "grunting grass-eater" in latin.

Love that you just trek. The braggarts who pay Sherpas to get them to the summits often ending with their deaths so the braggart’s can be safer make me angry. “The worlds highest rubbing dump” as a Everest is known as, is in a shocking state. Now the same braggart’s are littering and polluting K2. Why can’t these ghouls who claim to be mountain lovers be content with trekking? Pictures of the queues on Everest make most people angry. Human waste doesn’t decompose at altitude either so the high camps stink and are covered in shit. It’s disgusting. Just so the braggarts can boast about walking up Everest.

Thanks for your comment. Yes the mountains are busy places these days. Even with trekking we need to take care not to litter.
