By the year 3000 technology could disappear due to its advanced ability by ideas running out and dying. Just look at the film The Time Machine. Humans will just sit around like those in the latter film mentioned.

What technology will they have in the year 3000 if they won't have the Smart Phones and the Internet? I can't think of anything else apart from having devices planted into their brains in place of the Smart Computer and Phone.

Because we look so different now than we did 1000 years ago or even 4000 years ago. Only real difference is we are taller due to better nutrition. Odds are this trend will continue as we improve medicine and nutritional needs.

Absolutely loved this video! The way you broke down the neurosurgical tools and explained their uses was so easy to follow. It’s rare to find such a clear and engaging explanation of something so complex. Keep up the awesome work!

Evil spirits might have been migraines. Probably best to have two holes for faster pressure release. Since arthritis acts up during barametric pressure changes in weather maybe it fixed or alievieated that, and maybe anything pressure might affect, like edema and others.

It cured mine. I thought the Dr. was a snake oils salesman going into it... So it wasn't a placebo. I expected it not to work. After my first treatment I immediately noticed a reduction in inflammation but initially felt more pain. Noticed after about 6 hrs all pain was gone. For me this was a magic wand.

Is the evolution of human cranial volume going to get physically larger or smaller? That is a huge question along with the actual cranial capacity of the brain and its function. Smaller larger it’s hard to know, but I’ve read a lot on larger brains being better at certain problem solving tasks. Can anyone clarify these nuances with me?

NEVER EVER EVER let those shamans torque and jerk your neck like that. I had a ruptured C5-C6 disk and a chiro-punk told me he could heal it in 6 weeks. I eventually had an ACDF with plate. Also, I had a herniated L5-S1 successfully healed with Physical Therapy. I'm a strong believer in Physical Therapy if the disk is bulging or mildly herniated. But a ruptured disk requires surgery.

Can you guys use the actual instrument names when presenting them. For example, senn retractor, weitlaner, metzenbaum etc. it would truly help viewers learn the instruments better. Other than that, great explanation on how each instrument is used :)

I love the last bit. The crucial thing is also, that inability to apologise is actually concerning! It reeks of insecurity and bad emotion management skills, which then tend to result in A LOT of additional drama and more mess in already dire situations. In fields with lives at stake, buildup of bad emotions can easily result in delays and lethal outcomes. It also consumes a ton of energy, leaving whole teams or companies in states of consistent exhaustion > more mistakes > frustration > more conflict >more exhaustion and so on. I'm livid thinking of how patriarchy has lead to dismissal of emotions when they're literally running most human behaviours. And dismissal leads to low prioritisation of skill development. We observe the very dangerous and costly (far from only, but also monetary) price we all pay. Yet, we often still stay at the level of "patching symptoms" instead of addressing the very unseen core of the cause. That's why the last bit of the skit and your video us "said jokingly" but couldn't be more serious and true! We pack it in humour cause we know it to be true and that's hard to stomach, when it's still so common that society neglect how vital this is.

Heavens this looks violet 😱 I have weak connective tissue And already feel like my bones are getting pulled apart just with normal motion. Sth. this brutal would likely just break my neck. I had veeery gentle physiotherapy in which the head is pulled very slowly and gently, which felt good and like the spine got elongated again after compression throughout the day. And yet, my silly body reacts with 3 days of full body muscle and joint pains after "just" that! (I'm suspecting and investigating sth. along the lines of EDS, possibly?!)

😂 It's so hilarious. You seem to have seen enough to know that's internally (as in "in surgeon heads") happening but seems like it's no longer happening externally that often, at least in your place? 😂

Whenever I see surgeons and pharmaceutical doctors slander another field of care it adds legitimacy to that field. Everyone is after your money. Chiropractics is by no means a cure all but its physical therapy and a good place to go to stay healthy and prevent needing surgery.

Why so crass though? 😅 Especially here? They were very respectful. They voiced concerns for a vulnerable group and acknowledged some ppl have good experiences. It's almost....... as if the individuals and their individual situations.... matter 👀 ..... and there's no "one size fits all"

I waited over a day before I went to the hospital. I live in the States, so going to the hospital is expensive. After I finally did go in, I had the surgery immediately, but the surgeon said the herniated disc was MASSIVE, the biggest he'd seen in the 8 years he's been doing the surgery. They had to take out basically all of the disc tissue. He even sent me a picture because he couldn't believe how much he had to remove. He said my lumbar spine is just bone on bone now, and a spinal fusion is inevitable. Sadly, it looks like s full recovery is not in my future. I do tell everyone I know about it and the symptoms, though. I don't know, I guess I think more awareness about the symptoms will prevent others from waiting so long like I did. Because having to have a wheelchair to leave the house is very inconvenient if you don't have to use one. (Very convenient if you have extensive nerve damage, however.)
