Great looking piece. I grew up watching Jacques Cousteau and wanting to live that life, it seemed very magical to me. I really like Doxa.

I remember watching those episodes quite fondly! Means a lot to me that Doxa was his preferred brand!!

i’v had this watch for a few months.. took it to the beach once. After rinsing it in the sink was fine till i turned the bezel a few days later.. sand stuck between the watch and the bezel scratched the underside of the bezel, took the color right off.. known problem. The AD swapped the bezel but told me this is more a fashion watch than a real diver.. sold it, Got a BB, all is fine. the aesthetics of this watch is stellar! just don’t dive with it.

Good to know!! I don’t dive but live 3 miles from the beach! I would believe and feel confident their Sub 300’s aren’t like that but that is a shame the Sub 200 for a grand didn’t hold up!… Like you said they look great!… Thanks for the input!

Nice to hear your thoughts 🙂👍 I have been curious to try one as my first time with Doxa and I think it's so much more valuable to hear someone's feedback after they've lived with a watch for a while. Cheers 🍻

You won’t be sorry if you tap into that curiosity! Great watches with a great history plus they have their own unique look and design! Go for it! Thanks!

Sharp watch, Peter. I like the orange a lot...something different. Doxa just came out with a new watch today, the Doxa 200T, a more compact watch similar to the 300 and 300T, and I could definitely see getting the Professional version of that one. Looks great on you!

Oh wow! Thanks for the heads up!! Just looked at it on there site. Great move by Doxa, I was expecting to see that they also increased the price of the 300T but that still haven’t. 200T way smaller @39 x 42 x 11, maybe too small 🤷🏼♂️. Of course 200m vs 1200m but still plenty as deep as we go in our bathtubs!😂…Having two dials available, iconic or sunburst is a great move plus they kept the ratcheting bracelet. Don’t like the 18mm lug width though 🥴…. Again thanks for the heads up! I really have had a desire for the 300T for awhile!

Hard to buy it over a skx007. I almost bought one back when they came out in the aqua color.

Only Seiko I have is the SRPH15 land tortoise and that doesn’t come close to the Doxa. The SKX appears to be legendary, but I’ve never had one in my hand. I do have a Islander ISL-007 on its way which is like a upgraded (sapphire and ceramic) version of the SKX. Couldn’t pass it up for the deal I got from Marc @ Long Island watch. That should give me a good idea about the SKX.

300T is the Doxa to have.

I agree! I’ve since got a Sub 300T Professional and it’s awesome! The Sub 200 still has its place being more compact, I really do like the case. But it’s does not have the 300T’s build quality or bezel and the orange on the dial of the 300T is True Doxa!!

Hey, do you intentionally remove links from the top when resizing your bracelets out of preference? I feel like the clasp would sit in a better spot on your wrist if you took links from the bottom instead.
@RSSpec9 ай бұрын
Good eye! Lol. I took out 3 links to size it right so it would probably be offset either way(?)… not sure if reversing it would make a difference. In a perfect world I’d only would’ve needed to remove an even number of links. But you are correct it fits offset! Perhaps I’ll mess with it to see if it’s any better taking the 2 from the bottom (6) side.

@RSSpec I usually take all links from the bottom. With my wrists that tends to leave the clasp as flat as possible for me. Id try wearing your watch upside down and see where the clasp sits to see if it's an improvement.

I’ll play with it . I certainly prefer it to lay in the middle of my wrist.

FYI…. Damn if your weren’t right! Lol… I swapped links and now 4 are on the 12 (top) side and 3 on the 6 (bottom) side and the clasp does fit more centered!😊… thanks for the input!!
