This song reminds me of The Stranglers. Great suit, great review.

Sorry I'm a bit late to the party (Justin Hawkins bought me here) Great sound with loads of influences but with no outright copying Always a sign of a good band

This is so authentic 90s I thought for a moment it was a song I somehow didn't know. Source: turned 28 in 1990.

There’s a space that’s always empty There’s a ghost without a name There’s the whisper of the candle At the snuffing of the flame And they say it’s really nothing Just a disappearing pain Where do you go to my love? Where do you go to my love? Where do you go to my love? When it rains in Arizona And the desert flowers bloom There’s a wind that blows to Boston And it sings the saddest tune Well your mama she’s a beauty And your daddy’s eyes are blue Where do you go to my love? Where do you go to my love? Where do you go to my love? And I never meant to hurt you Or to tear you from this life And I’m sorry if you suffered When they turned out all the lights But you’re woven in the verses Of this broken lullaby Where do you go to my love? Where do you go to my love? Where do you go to my love? Where do you go to my love? Where do you go to? Where do you go to my love? Everything owed you my love Heaven will hold you my love

As much as I love this song I can’t listen to it without thinking of Ed Sheeran’s A Team. The chorus is a complete rip of of A Teams chorus. Was driving me mad trying to think what song it was from and just realised.

This played on the radio every single Sunday morning when I was a kid while my mum did the ironing. Love it just for the nostalgia lol

I love the finesse and emotion in the playing….every note and chord is played (although seemingly simple) with intention and control.

The guitar ever so slightly reminds me of the start of The Tourist by Radiohead, but I think I prefer this

Newly discovered! You fuckers are dope! There's serious substance & soul to your material & deliverance. Seriously, don't seem to see so much of the whole.. with new young rock bands today! All the best. I hope you always help to keep rock alive!!

Remember the first time I heard this. I was drunk with a couple of mates in his room after a party and he said "hey, put this song on" as soon as I heard it I thought of my friends that i used to know and how all those years went by so fast. I saved it to my playlist immediately and every time I listen to this it, it takes me back to all those memories and feelings. this really is a great bit of song writing

"be more of a human less of a junkie" hit me really hard when I first heard this song. I was a year clean off of heroin and still had fractured relationships. I listen to a lot of music, past or present there haven't been many songs that struck that chord in me. Cheers
