saw them live opening for fontaines dc, already knew them from teal and purple and some other songs, and i was so excited already but hearing superman live changed my life. the emotions and memories and feelings he carries in his voice, that all get out when he performs are so powerful. i ascended into space for that moment and forgot about it all for a second. we all were music in that second. it was infinite and i never felt so complete. watching this now and hearing superman, i feel like i'm there again, over the clouds, at the concert. and i love life for that moment

I can't believe this band is still flying under the radar. Cub was soooo good! Can't wait to hear all of Midas. Curiously, have yet to hear any of their songs on XM channels 35 or 36. A shame... that's where I discover a lot of great new talent.

It does disappoint me that theyve cut out 5 songs from this including July, 17 and Poppy. My 3 favourites at the moment. I wonder when or if we will get these.

Yeah, I agree. There's really only three possibilities as to why those songs are missing. 1) They didn't record everything. 2) They did record everything, but weren't happy with all the songs. 3) They recorded everything and still intend to release the rest at a later date. Personally, I think number 2 is most likely. Might not seem like it to us, but I could see them having a pretty high standard and thinking they didn't reach the bar on the night of the gig, for whatever reason. Sad that, because their live performances have never failed to impress me, but I think that might have happened. It just seems weird not to record the entire thing, at least on audio. I also don't think they'll release the full video later, because this edit seems pretty final to me. Could be wrong of course. Whatever the case, if they did record it all, I do hope it sees the light of day eventually, if only in audio form! Their live performances are insane and this night in particular, seems to have been legendary.
