Your surgeon was actually more leinient than mine. For week 1 Ill be clear liquids only. Week 2 protein shakes start w the full liquid diet for week 2 & 3. Then weeks 4&5 are puree. Regular foods begin week 6!

No that stuff is dangerous. Don't diet, cut your portions to a small portion watch your calorie and sweets but don't deny yourself. Same concept as surgery. You shrink your stomach naturally it takes a little time and exercise. I once weighed 350 lbs. Went down to 124. So I gained a Lil weight back dammit lol so now I'm shrinking my stomach cuz it's time for knee replacement I'm keeping it off. Not gonna lie it was my love of cake that gained me 50 Xtra pounds lol. Good luck I wish you well cuz this is the hardest way to lose weight. Weight loss surgery.

I'm 4 days post op from gastric bypass I'm a 57 year old mail first two days where so painful day three I went to the track and walked two miles same day 4 I'm still on water and broth I did get to start cream of wheat and cream soup 4 tbsp. Feel great I had mine at kc bariatric in lenexa ks best people ever I had to drive over an hour every time but I wouldn't change a thing

:/ she stopped posting on her social medias 2 years ago and at first I thought God forbid that something happened to her but after seeing how she deleted her secondary "sierras losing it" ig and her last comments 2 years ago talking about how she gained weight again and just her whole journey being full of negativity along with her binge eating coming back....I think that she disappeared due to giving up and regaining a large amount of weight. :(

Just got back from turkey my friend had gastric sleeve

I'm in the process of getting mines done and I'm so scared already, I have a fear of vomiting and thts my problem but imma have to suck it up or try to not make myself sick

I ended up having to stay at the hospital for 3 days and 2 nights due to not being able to keep anything down. It’s different for everyone but man I’m so sore 😅

OmG thank you so much for this video. I am getting the gastric sleeve in one week. 16th of January 2023.. and i an very nervous as i have low pain tolerance. I HATE drugs (pain killers).. last time the hospital gave me something for pain and i felt so heavy and just blobby. I forgot the name of it. But prayers and fingers crossed everything goes well. Im so happy to come across this video and see what you actually went through. Very transparent and detailed and you have given me such encouragement.

I am in the process of getting my sleeve, and I am so scared. You are one of the only people on KZbin who keep it real and I really appreciate that. I have the same issue that you did, seeing as this video is super old LOL ... My boobs are very large. When I was really skinny a couple of years ago they were still really large and I've always wanted to get them reduced. So I feel like after the sleeve, that will be my permission to finally get them smaller!

I’m 1 week post surgery and since day 2, I feel this spasm pain in the middle of my chest. It comes and goes, but noticed it more when eating or drinking.. Has anyone felt that? And when does it go away?

Hey VSG Sis! I'm Day 7 Post Op. My experience was different, but everyone's body is different. ANXIETY was my biggest issue. Keep going. THAT GAS WAS A B*TCH, but I walked until I couldn't walk anymore. (2Hrs after surgery). I love your video. This was real. Especially the cravings and Food Dreams.
