When my kids were really little, I had no time for small bags 😬 but now that they are a teensy bit older they have worked their way back in my life!

I just ordered an authentic leather tote to hold all my LV SLGS (they will match too) and to give my speedy a break until I get my "vintage" LV bag. I can't wait to get the tote though. I'm glad to hear the great news about your mother. I think you made the right decision. I actually purchased the same bag but ended up returning it myself because I couldn't get over the zipper, tassel, and the strap that doesn't lie flat. I ended up buying a similar version from J Crew to help quench that thirst. I also would like to add a tote style bag in my collection so I can carry around more stuff.

Awesome news about your mom :-) My husband is a cancer survivor so I understand how stressful the whole experience is. He had colon cancer so he's going in soon for his first post-surgical colonoscopy and it's still scary. Blood tests and CT scan have come back favorably but it's still scary. Hearing "we've found a mass" the first time was life changing, and we are definitely closer than we've ever been (and we've been married 25+ years). Continued prayers go out to your mom. Oh, and new subscriber here .... #1,300 !!!

Hi, new subbie. I enjoy your chatty vids! Keep them coming. I like knowing someone else considers and ponders, researches and can be unsure and change their mind! I agree on the Chanel, they are out of reach for some of us and there is so much else out there. I recommend a great bag for your lifestyle with kids, the LV Sperone Backpack in Azur. So gorge and smoossshy, and not heavy, holds a lot and you can get it out of your way and keep it on your shoulders but over the shoulder also looks so young, and bohemian. I also recommend the Rebecca Minkoff mini moto for a cross body. I just got that one and love it the best of all my cross bodies that I own or have seen as it's not heavy at all and holds all my SLGs plus my sunnies case or glasses case (which is a flaw in many cross bodies - too small) I like the edgy vibe of this bag with the few fringes....Retiro is gorgeous btw but not a the perfect bag, too structured - for what you need with kids. So you kept the wallet, nice, lovely, but not the Gucci Soho, (I have that one and I do like it for how I wear it at work, but a bit too fancy for my casual life, the leather is great not fragile but so nice, so I leave it at work), and I know I will have it for years. On the zip you can leave it open, it doesn't matter on a cross body if you wear it in front. Great decision for who you are now, though. Happy about your mom. :) c xx

HI Sierra. If you want the Chanel bag but can't get it now because you haven't saved enough, u can get one from Tradesy or the realreal and pay with affirm. That is a monthly payment plan and u can still get your wholly grail bag. I'm so glad your mom is cancer free now! God bless.

I have the original model and I've used it so little the handles are still stiff. I have a gm in mono and mm in de but I favor smaller bags now that my kids are getting older.

Great news about your mom!! I also have issues with instant gratification. I'm very glad you kept your wallet. Why sell something you love? Don't you need a wallet anyway? When I decide to sell something on eBay, I've decided I'm ready to let it go. Often I will use it one more time (unless it's new) and see how I feel. No seller's regret yet!

I have only ever cleaned the noir leather on my retiro, so I'm not sure this would work on your wallet...I used Apple Care products that I bought off Amazon. I've heard a lot of good things about that brand from other videos and in the LV Facebook groups. I haven't watched it yet, but Lux Mommy just did a video on how she cleans her LV and the Purse Forum would probably have some great tips as well. :)

Question for your Q&A: Is it bad to use 2 different kinds/brands of facial cleansers at the same time? I've been using the Dermalogica Special Cleansing Gel for 3-4 months and the Active Moist. I ran out of the Dermalogica Active Moist and got a lotion for my face from Kiehl's that i've been wanting to try for a while (they are both for oily skin) and i got to try a cleanser from Kiehls. It works differently from the Dermalogica one and i love it too. Can i alternate between them or is that not good for the skin?
