Always good to see your videos Mick - about the bike ... the way that stem protrudes over the top of the bars could cause you a mischief if you come off. Don't mean to be a nit picker but I've fallen off them things often enough to be careful.

Dude, you're going to need a warehouse with all this new gear you're getting. lol. I'm still sticking with a twig stove, or my trusty gas burner or preferably a natural fire. You do tempt me though with these trangia cookers.

Might want to look into Biolight stove or grill... NOT a lightweight or cheap one, but you can charge anything with a USB port while it's burning. I got the stove and grill set myself

Hello Mick. I suggest you stick to the roads with that bike and slowly build up your distance. You can get slime inner tubes that fix the punctures themselves.

Good for you getting your fitness back, but personally, if it were me, I would change the tyres to all terrain, cos on the freezing roads when it gets bad, you may slip and hurt your sen .God bless you 🙏. Lee

@Mickoutdoors gotcha, I have a couple of bikes in need of repair before I can use them (strictly pedal power, no fancy electric) but we just got snowed on yesterday so the weather is going to be bad til next year. I'm glad you can get out n about easier, and I'm jealous of your woods being so close, lol. If you Google map salt lake city you'll see there's mountains very near me, however, GETTING to them when you can no longer drive is a problem.

It looks just like the REI Helix pad, I have bought a few of the Ali express pads the ones with the sea to summit baffles and both were comfy and light weight but both failed after two trips this summer they both lasted about 10 nights of camping terrible value for money at like 65 quid a mat both just left slow deflating when loaded with weight in the night nd it was cold few nights, the baffles went on the other two and separated inside. When these things go faulty your are screwed with the guarantee. I got two new Thermorest mats in the sale and they are comfy , warm and I have peace of mind that in a few years if they fail I have a good chance of it been repaired or being sent another matt if not. Tents and sleeping bags can be found budget on things like Amazon, Temou Aliexpress, but airmats I would always buy the brand names with the proper long term warranties they honour. I have had Big Agnes, Exped ones and never no problems with them, I only started having problems when I cheeped out on my sleep mat

@wad6216 Thanks for taking the time to comment really appreciate it, so far the pad has preformed well, thing is not everyone has £150 to £250 to spend on a sleep pad, especially those just tipping their toes into wild camping to see if they enjoy it or not, so pads like this can offer a budget alternative, sure if your out regularly and this fails I'd certainly think about upgrading to a brand pad, but I've also seen videos of top brand expensive pads failing, it's all well and good getting a free replacement or repair, but when it fails during a camping trip your in exactly the same position as if you were on a budget pad only difference being the after sales treatment 👍

Hi Mick, great video. We have 2005 swift 2 berth and there’s a bit of damp getting in the front, window seals look good and I have tried to seal the top strip above the windows. Still seems wet and cold though. Where do you think it could be getting in from? It’s not too bad btw. Just want to catch it before it does. Cheers Mick

@sthol7408 hiya and thanks for commenting, tbh there's not a lot of places it can get into from the front, obviously your window seals, but if it's not the tracks, it really only leaves the awning rail ? So I would check and reseal those, and check your bodywork has no cracks also, it can be a pain trying to find but once found it's normally quite easy to repair 👍

Another good video Mick. Your some man to find bargains.just to let you know I got the wood stove you reviewed and it's great. The best part is I got it for 51 euros .I did as you said and put it in the basket and left it. Then got it cheaper. Thanks
