@Mickoutdoors on the mend, no issue there sir. The bag has a zip on part with a hole in the middle for your head, so you can keep your heat in the bag but still have tons of room. I use a Big Blanket Co outdoor blanket for my regular camps

That looks like a lovely warm and snug sleeping bag. Like the way you can use it as a quilt as well, and nice to be able to get your feet out. Looking forward to seeing you trying it out on your next camp out x

Thanks for the first look Mick. I've been looking for a nice warm, down sleeping bag that's budget friendly, but they always seem to be mummy style, which I hate. I could be talking out of my arse (and I probably am) but my philosophy is, I can't justify multiple sleeping bags, and I certainly don't want to store them, so if you get a decent cold rated bag, if you're too hot, you can open it up, use it as a quilt, or, as you so ably demonstrated, hang your feet out the bottom. I'm just off to follow that link and see how much that one is right now!

Hi mick the price of down bags has gone threw the roof the last 12-18mnths so thanks for the heads up will watch your camp and see how the rating compares .I bought a bag some yrs ago and it failed on me on a camp so it pays to do your research which you do lesson learnt there thanks for the video

Iv got the same bag also off Alice. Fluffs up well and is very warm, my only concern is its a bit on the tight site around the arms. That beings said i am a fat lad. Ill be dropping a review on my. Hannel also. Going to take it on a camp Tuesday first.

@drumteacher43 tbh no lol its comfort rated -3 to -12c and I'll never get chance to try it in the conditions you say Tim, we just don't get that in the UK.

Hi Mick . I was looking at getting one myself but the only thing that was putting me off slightly was the pack size .... Does it compress down much ?

@kevinsmith-gk1ms it does compress a fair bit, but obviously it's a proper winter bag, I can fit it into my osprey 65 bottom bag compartment no problem with a bit of pushing, or even easier just slide it down from the top 😉
