Greatest comedy movie of all time? Might be in the top 3. Dumb and dumber.... I don't know, maybe Happy Gilmore, Billy Madison.... I know you could throw a lot in but which one is going to make you laugh a bit more every time when you're in the right mood and never fails to give you a chuckle when you're in a shit mood. Throwing Tropic Thunder in there and honourable mention to the other guys as the biggest surprise movie to give me a belly laugh. Just thought of another big one that's gone now.... Anyway, it'll be nice when Hollywood is cleared out. Comedy.

Years ago when I was a teenager another teen though he could bully me because he was great at karate. There was one of those long hollow pipes you hook brushes onto to clean pools near us. I grabbed the pipe and took a swing for the fences. The bully thought he could tank the blow because I was weak. We both learned a rather important science lesson when he went airborne.

*I can't write the quotes from this gangster azz film down fast enough .. I swear there's one at every corner in every scene. 😂 I love that life wisdom some films and songs can feed you. I abdorb it all. This is most definitely a life film and gripping "coming of age" story. Who couldn't like it ? I feel like Chaz should've won an Oscar or at least Golden Globe (if he didn't) for best actor or supporting male actor and writer. Robert De Niro deserved a top award for his directorial debut. The music should have been awarded .. Just such stellar and timeless work. I could never get tired of seeing it and always watch it in awe as though it's the first time. A part of my teenhood.* 👍🏼👍🏼💥

*Watching this scene recently with my mom was so satisfying. I've seen this terrific, classic film a countless number of times since I was a teenager and have always loved it. I'm 35 now, going on 36 next week, and saw this film recently on AMC. I always knew that despite Italians being a European group and embraced as whte in this country after some time, there was an ethnic war going on here in this scene .. Lol. In the beginning, the bikers throw up fists that I'm assuming to be the "Aryan" 🙄 brotherhood fist pump. It's a subtle indication that even though the blkx and Italians were at it, the Italians had to deal with other whte ethnic groups that likely didn't see them as one of their own due to the difference in culture, looks, and religion. I am of Mexican & Apache descent. A lot of these darker Southern Italians and Sicilians in this film remind me a lot of my ppl. Even one of the mob guys next to Sonny looks like he could be Native/Navajo because of his squinty eyes. Lmao. This scene always gives me such satisfaction. And Lilo Broncatto is Colombian in real life, for those who don't know. But he was adopted by an Italian American family and grew up in New York City. He said he embraced his parent's culture. Had me fooled ! I seriously thought he was Italian like the kid from Karate Kid !*

From someone who's ALSO never been to prison (only to a Police holding cell for several months). You CAN do this in front of the Police (without the sticks of course) but you must be V E R Y CAREFUL of your cellmates when you go to sleep....

unless you are chuck norris in his prime, fucking with anyone in prison will get you killed there or soon after. Everyone has a place, do not try to move up until they are ready. If you come in meek, you will get tested, if you come in all hard, you will also get tested. Be normal, don't get involved in anyone's shit. Period. Don't borrow anything, don't loan anything out. Both can be a setup.
