Leave it to Jodie Foster to figure it all out and tell those guys what to do! :-) By the way, she's one of my favorite actresses! What happened to Tom Skerritt? Did he perish in the explosion? (Remember him in "Poison Ivy"? If they were going to have Drew Barrymore seduce someone's husband, couldn't they have used Pierce Brosnan or someone "hot" like that? This movie has a few changes from the book (written by Carl Sagan), but is very good just the same. Someone else in the comments mentioned of being a big Jodie Foster fan. I had to think on it a while (since most modern-day actresses are used only for "eye candy" and/or to push some sort of feminist messaging,) but Judi Dench is probably one of my favorite actresses. And to answer your question, yes, Tom Skerritt's character perished in the explosion. I've never seen "Poison Ivy, but I have a hard time picturing Drew Barrymore seducing anyone -- it just doesn't seem her "style." I can totally see you with someone elegant and sophisticated like Pierce Brosnan, Michelle P. Heatherton. The next time I see him, I'll be sure to put in a good word for you! I've had a comedy video about 90% for months now; there just never seems to be enough time to finish it. Hopefully soon! Anywho, thank you for the visit, and may your week be truly awesome!

It's a hokey movie, but Drew looked pretty good when she was a teenager! :-)) I think the movie came out in 1992 or 1993. I'll have to see if that "Poison Ivy" movie is on NetFlix. If it's not, then I'll definitely be writing my Congressman. Not so much working hard at my day job (although the hours can be quite long), but rather spending my evenings remodeling my house. "Lascivious" - there's a word you don't hear every day! And my mind goes in all kinds of different directions when I try to translate the eating of Oreo icing into something "naughty"; maybe we've inadvertently just created a new euphemism! There will _never_ come a day when I understand the rationality of the KZbin bots! If I knew some handymen living in Ohio, I'd certainly send them in your direction. More so if I knew some _single_ handymen; though with your "dual nature" I wouldn't know whether to send you a sophisticated and well-read bloke or one who'd likely show up driving a muscle car and wearing tattered jeans! ;) And I _am_ remodeling my entire house. However, the bathroom will likely be last, as the subfloor needs replaced, requiring the entire bathroom to be torn apart. Likely I'll have to rent an apartment nearby while I'm working on it -- simply to keep myself with shower and toilet utilities. Else, things could get rather messy in a hurry!

when that piece of the ring was sent hurtling towards mission control....an object probably massing 10,000 tons at least flying at probably 300 kmh from centrifugal force alone, would destroy anything it slammed into, freaking any (not in the path) bystanders out!!! Like having a 30 story concrete building coming at you at dragster racing speed.
