I’m not sure how I gave you the impression that I believe the antichrist is a human who comes out of the Middle East. I may have said that the whole word is expecting a Muslim antichrist. I believe and teach that the antichrist is satan himself, pretending to be Yeshua returned. In my opinion, there is not a human being that can pull off what the “man of sin, son of perdition” antichrist will do. It will take a supernatural being. If this fellow in Syria walked into the rebuilt temple, declaring and showing that he is God (2 Thes 2:4), how many students and believers of Yeshua would be fooled into thinking this is the Second Coming? But if satan, transformed as an angel of light, counterfeited the Second Coming, showed up at the temple declaring that he is God, many who have been deceived by some carefully laid lies of satan, will indeed be fooled. That is the true antichrist. Yes, there will be plenty of bit players, but only one “The Antichrist”.

Could you please expand of this comment, which areas of this study are outside of Scripture? Can you please give your position on eschatology? You can just give me a brief description of events leading up to the Second coming of Yeshua and the Millennium. I love how you qualified this as "God give some believers". This is very important to grasp. The question is "who are the some?" God demonstrated who at least one was in Acts 5 when when Peter, through God, executed judgment of Ananias and Sapphira. God help us when the gift is restored in His church, the pretenders will be exposed for who they are. There are many who think they have the gift of discernment today, I would question most regarding this.

Now let’s look at how the term “the discerning of spirits” is used in the Greek in 1 Corinthians 12:10. I would suggest there are at least four spiritual realms to the Greek concept of discerning. The Greek word for discernment is daikrisis. It means to distinguish between or judicial estimation. The discerning of spirits is the supernatural ability to recognize and distinguish between not only good or bad, but various classes of spirits (more on this below). I like how Francis Frangipane describes this gift. He says, “Spiritual discernment is the grace to see into the unseen. It is a gift of the Holy Spirit to perceive what is in the spirit. Its purpose is to see into the nature of that which is veiled.” Yes, while "discernment" refers to the general ability to make good judgments and distinguish between things, "discerning of spirits" is a specific spiritual gift mentioned in the Bible, which refers to the supernatural ability to identify and distinguish between the presence of different spiritual entities, like good and evil spirits, or the Holy Spirit and demonic influences; essentially, it's a deeper level of discernment focused on the spiritual realm. Key points to remember: General Discernment: Everyone can use discernment in daily life to make wise decisions and evaluate situations. Discerning of Spirits: This is considered a special gift from the Holy Spirit, allowing someone to perceive the spiritual forces behind actions or situations, often including the ability to distinguish between good and evil spirits.

No. It does not matter. It was God’s idea to scatter us over the earth. It’s a language difference. What matters is the knowledge of need for salvation, repenting and turning from sin and growing in the new-life in Jesus. Humans have a need to find ways to seem more spiritual and learned. Jesus wants a humble repentant heart, keeping the ‘law of love’ of the Lord and love your neighbor as yourself. It’s a process of learning to LOVE in a new and true righteous just way as He did. Only He can give you this love and is the source for its truth. Humanly speaking we are ripe for deception.

Like you, I began calling our Saviour “Jesus” when I first learned of Him. I am certain that He heard my cries and met me where I was. Yet as my knowledge increased, I came to realize several problems with continuing to call him Jesus. One reason is that proper names generally are not translated. For example, I’m not Thomas in North America, but “Tomas” in Spain. Someone named “Jacques” in France doesn’t not become “Jack” in America. There are many reasons why we know that Jesus could not have been the name that his parents called Him. Hebrew, to this day, does not have the letter J or the J sound. The letter J didn’t even exist in English until a thousand years or more after His death and resurrection. Had anyone seen Him in a crowd in Jerusalem in 30 A.D. and yelled “Jesus”, would He have even thought to turn around? Another major reason is that His given name, in Hebrew, is the same word as “salvation” or “Yah saves”. But what does “Jesus” mean in Hebrew? For these reasons, I have taken a “when you know better, do better” approach. That means that I do my best to call Him by the name He used, a name that points directly to His role as our Saviour. With all of that in mind, is there a reason that we should continue to call him Jesus? I couldn’t think of one, so I worked at changing my habit to honor Him more fully.

By your response, it is not quite clear what you are intending to say. Yes, in the context of God’s long suffering with us. Amen! For Someone who inhabits eternity, a thousands years is as a day. But how do you translate 2 Peter 3:8 to prophecy? I don’t think you are trying to say that the 1260, 1290, and 1335 days of Daniel are actually 1,260,000 years, 1,290,000 years, and 1,335,000 years. Or are you? Can you point me to a study that would point clearly to what you are suggesting.

Witness accounts describe a very unusual sight leading up to the explosion. Shortly after that, the Federal Reserve was formed in 1913, and then World War 1 started in 1914.
