God said He would accomplish 70 years in the desolations of Jerusalem. 63 years have passed (Daniel 9:24-27). The 7-year Tribulation Period is explained below: Daniel's 70th Week begins in Daniel chapter 7 through 12. Chapter 7 describes the time culminating in Christ's kingdom on earth. Chapter 8 goes in-depth about the beginning of the daily sacrifice, the transgression of desolation, the sanctuary being trampled underfoot, and Christ's return to cleanse the sanctuary. The holy one describes the time as "true" evenings and mornings. The word "true" means they are literally 2,300 days and not years. Chapter 9 is where we see the 70th Week described as "one week" (7 years). The "middle of the week" is what we know as Day 1,260. God said He would accomplish 70 years in the desolations of Jerusalem in Daniel 9:2. The way to know for sure that the visions in chapter 7 through 12 refer to the same time period is by the phrase used in Daniel 7:25 "a time and times and half a time", and Daniel 12:7 "a time, times, and half a time". This phrase is found in Rev 12:14. The woman represents 144,000 of Tribes of Israel that are sealed before the Tribulation Period begins. (Rev 7:1-8). She is nourished (protected) for 1,260 days which is the 1st Half of Daniel's 70th Week. (Daniel 9:27; 12:11; Rev 12:1-6). Then she is nourished for “a time and times and half a time” which is the 2nd Half of Daniel's 70th Week. (Daniel 12:7; Rev 12:7-17). In Revelation 12:7-17, the woman flees, which is what Jesus tells those in Judea to do when they see the Abomination of Desolation in the holy place. (Matt 24:15, 16) This is the 3rd Woe described by Jesus. (Matt 24:19) This "woe" is also seen in (Rev 12:14). The word "woe", the phrase "middle of the week" and the phrase “a time and times and half a time”, symbolize Great Tribulation. The "middle of the week" is Day 1,260, which is the beginning of the 2nd Half of Daniel's Week and Great Tribulation.
