Glossier Favourites | Revisiting My Top Makeup and Skincare Products List

As an Australian I spent years harassing Glossier to launch or post here. So I did buy stuff in the pre-launch and visit Mecca asap. But to be honest whilst it was nice to see the stuff in person it all feels a bit too late and maybe I am a bit peeved it took so long to arrive here. I did like the concealer. I liked the balms, note that a lot of people are comparing them to the Summer Friday balms and finding Glossier lacking, but I like their not so sticky feeling for day time wear. Generation G lipstick was ok. Didn't like the Ultralip. Tried Future Dew but not going to purchase as think I might have allergy issues with that one. Really like Glossier You, happy to have that. Mecca didn't get the Skin Tint or the highlighters, 2 things I really wanted to try. Oh and liked the Lash Slick mascara too. A new launch video would be helpful!

They ship to Spain now too. I went through hell to have my package on time to catch my flight back home first time I went to England. Still in love with their highlighter, the boy brow, Future Dew and the cloud paints (although my Storm seems to have a different texture and color pay off than the rest... way stronger?). And that one is the only concealer I can use without fear of dryness/cakiness or wathever. Love that little pot.

I got hooked on After Baume moisturizer courtesy of this channel. My skin is as dry as can be and this feels soothing. The pillowy plush texture is appealing. The foundation was a great formula but I couldn’t get a good shade match. The lip formulas seem to be nice but I haven’t tried. I don’t enjoy boldly branded packaging even subconsciously.

Your videos just are a feast for the eyes -- and the aesthetics of them very up my alley. I've long wanted to look closer at Glossier (only have their eye pencil in Patina, and the Generation G in Leo. I just realized your video of their eye pencils was a great help in helping me decide getting said pencil that I now one, btw. (And along all these gorgeous, so helpful, paced close-ups, you make GREAT swatches!) I have Glossier's solid compact perfume. While it's not very strong, it's a very comforting smell that I carry with me whenever I need a pick me up. It also works as a worry stone lol.

The prices have risen massively, so Glossier seems like a whole different brand now. I still love some of their products, but they are not worth the inflated price point because we have so many alternatives on the market now. I feel like they are betraying the original customer with prices as high as they want now! 🤷‍♀️😳

I literally went out and found a new brow gel because the price went up over 30%. I used to purchase a new brow gel every 3-6 months, but now I've moved on. I'll repurchase 2 cloud paints and the concealer - but I feel like the market will also move along there too.

Glossier is still my favorite brand and it has been for years. My all time favorites are the skin tint which I started with the shade dark now I’m G8 and the boy brow in brown. I love the just skin glow of the products and the simple but pretty packaging. The cream moisturizer has also been my favorite.

Yes please do review the new launches. My Glossier favourites are the You perfume, the only scent I wear now and my partner thinks it’s how I smell and the lash slick. I have delicate eyelashes and it’s stopped them falling out. Anything else looks unnatural on my stubby lashes. Oh and also the ultra lip which I wear with a neutral lipliner. My favourite is portrait which looks kind of coral on me

While I haven’t had much luck with Glossier face products (my skin is uber picky), I absolutely ADORE their lip products as well as the Glossier You perfume. Generation G is probably my favourite lipstick formula ever. Zip is the best red (when lightly applied) for that French girl wash of colour that’s imperfectly applied. ❤

I like the super pure serum, perfectly effective for my skin and I find the price to be reasonable. I might pick up again the stretch concealer eventually, I used to like it, I’d be curious to try it again. Besides that I don’t feel so interested by the brand, there’s so many options now for the same type of products. Lovely video again ❤

I love love love their glosses! Yes it’s a little bit of a thick formula,but I find them stay a much longer time than thinner glosses,and they ARE juicy! I have 2 backups each for the clear one and the red one ❤

Still a BIG fan of Glossier! Love Generation G and the Stretch concealer. I got the shade Puff in their Cloud Paint blushes and am pretty sure I don’t enjoy it solely because the shade is not that flattering. I’m eager to try the shades Storm or Beam, along with their Brow Flick, Stretch Foundation, and Cloud Paint bronzer. They just do simple really well. ☺️

I wear the dark brown lidstar more than any other eye shadow. I like to put a tiny dot on my lid and then blend it out so it's just tiny scattered shimmer. It's my every day easy fun surprising pulled together go to.

i think where i went wrong with after baume is using it in the morning because i found that it really leaves an odd pilling residue under my makeup! however when i use it at night, it is so encapsulating

For me the only Glossier product that still stands the test of time is the Cloud Paint liquid blush because they are truly long lasting. Unfortunately, with great brands like MERIT and Tower28 offering gorgeous alternatives I find Glossier lacking and a lot of products missing the mark! Still great video as always! ❤️

BDC is my holy grail lip product. I’ve always been a petroleum girly when it comes to lip moisturizers (classic chapstick was my previous go to), and I was gutted when they moved to a vegan formula full of ingredients that irritate my lips. So glad they brought back the original formulation cause I’ve been scrambling to find a new go to and rationing what BDC I had for the last few years.

I’ll admit that my interest in Glossier has waned somewhat because they took so long to get here and RMS has been hitting the spot for me for fuss free no makeup-makeup. Up until recently, the only Glossier product I had tried was Cloudpaint in Dusk, which I like (and am wearing in my profile pic) so I was looking forward to trying more products. When Glossier launched at Mecca recently I found out my local only stocks the Balm Dot Coms, so I took a chance ordering the Stretch Concealer and Cloud Paint in Puff online. I’ve used them both for a couple of weeks now and was a bit underwhelmed to be honest. I usually use RMS UnCover Up Concealer and Lip2Cheek and now that I have had a chance to compare them I think I’m going to stick with RMS even though they’re more expensive. For me they seem to last longer and work better on my skin ❤ Also even though I was aware that there may have been a change to the shade Puff, I thought I’d try it anyway, and it does seem to have changed to a warmer more peachy colour, like it’s had a bit of Beam mixed into it, but that could just be me? 🤷‍♀️ Anyone else have this experience with Puff?

I use it as my moisturiser Miriam! 👍 But you might even be able to treat it as a slugging layer and apply it over your regular moisturiser too? Maybe worth asking the brand for their advice! x

I still use Boy Brow right now, but I've found I like Beauty Pie's undereye brightener, skin tint, and mascara better than Glossier. So I may try their brow product when I run out of my Boy Brow.

After Baume feel like a balm or a moisturizer? I'm on the search for a winter moisturizer thats super hydrating/moisturizing without being heavy or greasy.

I'd say it's more like a really rich moisturiser with a balmy feel/look on the skin! I definitely don't find it too heavy or greasy, but I do love a rich moisturiser on my dry skin. If you're really sensitive to any residue or texture, you might not like the way it seals in your other products, but you could always start with a reeeally tiny amount and work that in? Hopefully you're near a store and can take a little tester home! 💙 x

@@matildaonvideo I'm not sensitive to texture my skin is just more neutral/normal than dry and because of that my skin has a difficult time wanting to absorb anything type of moisture without it feeling like too much or like it's not soaked in. I tend to gravitate towards Gel, Sorbet or Cream like textures but I know those are usually marketed for oily skin (which I definitely don't want to accidentally strip my skin of what little natural oils it has).

yes to a new from glossier video! I still love glossier, after baume is very underrated. After the body shop discontinued my favourite day cream, I became an after baume convert and I've been buying the extra large jars because they last for a good three months. Lash slick is my dream mascara in terms of being able to wear a mascara that doesn't clump which I only really found that with Chanel Le Volume. I quite liked the new invisible shield spf 50 but its more on the matte side and I prefer a dewy glow

I'm in the US and moved on from ALL of my former glossier faves over the past 6 years. Instead if cloud paint I use merit flush balm or tower28 cream blush pans. Instead of skin tint I use ciele spf tint or Mac face&body. I graduated from boy brow to hourglass brow products many years ago. Instead of Gen G or ultra lip I use Tilbury matte lipstick with Fresh sugar balm as a topper. Glossier skincare never captured me. I mostly use DIEUX instead.

Everything I've tried from them has been a huge let down. The solar paint, lidstar and the stretch balm consealer were all huge fails for me. Like so fail I had to toss them and even if I don't like something I'll use it up.

And for the stretch balm it had this very odd texture that didn't sit well on my skin but I'm not a big pot concealer person so that's just on me.

I didn’t like the Stretch Concealer as much as I thought I would even though I’m a pot concealer person. I think I’m just used to the RMS one and prefer that, even though the shade Light 3 in Glossier is a closer match for me than Shade 22 in RMS.

A moment of silence for the old Gen G formula 😥the shade Cake has gone too pigmented and orange now, and the formula is grainy and drying. Not sure why they felt the need to do that when they already released a full pigment liquid lipstick. Glossier if you're reading this, please bring the previous Gen G back (and the rose lychee scent!!). Still really enjoying the milky jelly cleanser. Wowder is the only powder I have or ever will use, its perfect, I've used up 3 pots of it. Balm Dot Com in Wild Fig has been really nice to throw on, I enjoy the scent and the shade of that one. But by far my favourite product is no surprise: the perfume. Don't know how many I've used up at this point, been using it since it launched. Will use forever if they don't reformulate that in a drastic way too! 😅

My Gen G tubes still have a scent Beth! The new formula hasn't been grainy for me but I do agree that Cake is a different shade, I miss the original 😩 Thank you for sharing your favourites! Curious to revisit Milky Jelly after that reformulation x
