What kind of oil is in these dressings? Because soybean oil and canola oil are incredibly inflammatory. Salad dressing should only have Olive oil, avocado oil or hemp oil

Check out Dr Frita. She's a kidney doctor with a lot more knowledge about nutrition. I understand some people might need low protein but there's hardly any nutrition in these breakfasts. Plant-based kidneys is another good Channel with great information

Protein is important for building bones and also for seniors who may have greater protein needs and who don’t want osteoporosis or osteopenia. How do we CKD patients balance that need? I am 73 yo and have CKD Stage 3A. Thanks.

She is great. I’ve managed by following her menus/recipes to get my numbers back into normal range. I ve also found using nutritional yeast along with tiny amount of cheese in recipes gives me the flavor I desire.

Lemons are bad , if you ask me for kidneys very acidic and hurt my kidneys and give me a bad headache for a couple of days. Be very careful about everything they say to take for your body. Everybody may not be able to take that acidity. God Bless You, plz be very careful.

I can't eat white bread because it constipates me. Can you please tell where I can get bread high in fiber. Then I can't eat white bread because I have to avoid it because of my LDL cholesterol . Thankyou for this video because you were the only one that spoke up about this. Because everyone else just tells you what to avoid and not helping anyone to find the right stuff to eat for kidney disease or other health conditions.

Is there a way of knowing just how far off the A1C results are? How does a diabetic with CKD track themselves? Are the home glucose meters also inaccurate for CKD?

You didn't mention homemade cheese...the whole milk with either lemon juice of a enzyme to create the white soft cheese. This cheese is made from fresh milk from the farm...and only lemon juice added. Of course salt can be added to taste. We are concession miners of Himalayan salt & import and distribute worldwide. We feel this salt is better then most others ?

Baking soda (a k a bicarbonate of soda) is pure sodium bicarbonate, while baking powder is baking soda combined with one or more acid salts, such as monocalcium phosphate monohydrate, dicalcium phosphate dihydrate, sodium aluminum sulfate or sodium aluminum phosphate.

I make our own almond/oat milk, noting else added. Soak 1/4 c almond flour, 1/4 c oat flour (grind oats in a coffee grinder) pug in a large mouth qt canning jar, fill halfway with cold water. Stick it in the fridge overnight. Next am I use a stick blender on high, add more cold water while blending almost to the top. Done, there will be a bit of slurry at the bottom, just pour if in your cereal

I just subscribed. This is unheard of but I swear it's true: on Thanksgiving day in 1987 I was having a bowel resection due to Chronic Intestinal Pseudo obstruction & the surgeon said "let's see what else is wrong with this kid" and he got to looking & lo & behold, he found my left kidney UNATTACHED laying in my left butt cheek he said it "was the damnest thing he ever saw". They attached it crossed their fingers and it functioned perfectly. BUT. now that I'm in my 50s my poor overworked right kidney is bad. Last week I went mountain climbing, got dehydrated and went into kidney failure. They said if I hadn't got to the hospital when I did, I would've been dead in 2 days! Now I drink water till I feel it's gonna come out of my eyes 😅 So I need videos like this. I WANNA LIVE DAMN IT

I would say if you are at stage 3,4,5 already. Do not listen to this video to be on the safe side and get in contact with your nephrologist that works closely with a dietitian. Get complete tests done from blood all the way to urine to see how much Sugar, Potassium, phosphorus, sodium and protein your body is keeping and maybe even your allowed liquid intake must be carefully examined . Some of these foods are allowed but in moderation. Depending on which stage you are would depend on how you should eat anything. Try to catch it in the early stages and dont wait until you get symptoms.
