I used to not like oatmeal because it was slimy. But I started making overnight oats using old fashioned oats, chia, ground flax seed, cinnamon and real maple syrup, with double the amount of milk so it is not completely absorbed by the ingredients. In the morning, I add berries and various seeds and nuts, and it is not slimy at all. Now I eat it every morning. 🙂
