Maybe the rocks weren't there by complete chance. Maybe they caused the rocks to fall to prevent an invasion from the rapidly increasing number of monsters, and also flooding the valley with massive reservoir would potentially kill off much of the enemy forces while potential flooding the Zora Domain, protecting it from most of the possible attack methods of the enemies forces while enabling the Zoras to be lethal torpedo's of mass destruction with their water magic enhanced gear and fortifications. I don't know about you, but I think the Zora are for the most part fine if they actually strategize and use their inherit water magic.

I finally was able to do get this and I got to say, it's really hard to get, trying to defeat enemies in Level 8 and 9 with just a basic sword is incredibly difficult. It is kind of cool to have the "red sword" finally.

Years ago, I remember watching an interview done in the 1980s where Miyamoto said he envisioned what we would now call procedurally generated labyrinths (and possibly the overworld, too) for the first Zelda game, but that such a thing was simply not possible to do with the Famicom. I'm not sure if I imagined that interview or not, but my brain is convinced it is real. I only saw it once. Has anyone else seen that interview or heard that bit of history?

I was hoping for a segment of the game to have a defense/assault from enemies similar to what happens at Kara Kara Bazaar or Gerudo Town. I think that would be a great way to showcase many different enemy types and a precursor to The Demon Lord's Army. I think this way it would be a significant change with having soldiers from different regions actually have a purpose to being there. As far as I know, we don't see any Rito's fighting in the game besides Tulin.

I really like the idea of Link, quite possibly the last professional soldier in the entire world, being in agony over the design of the fort and going to Purah with a comprehensive list of issues.

Torn between Ultrahand & Recall. It really depends on how much weight they can support, since Recall needs a lot more setup, but generally allows you to support a lot more stuff in game. But both would be friggin awesome. I am strong enough to do work which involves a lot of lifting, but Ultrahand would make it way easier. Recall doesn't help with the setup but the actual usage is really cool and I kinda dig the weirdness of arranging objects so that their movements are correct when played in reverse.

And used scattered planks from destroyed buildings around the castle. There's a far more pressing issue. ... All the shieka tech has been dismantled and destroyed ... utterly. ... Every single shrine every single divine beast every single weapon and every single tower. They got the resources manpower and whatever else to do ALL OF THAT! But not rebuild basically ANYTHING?! Hudson company has a lot of scattered parts for free use but not everyone is a handyman. And they spent the time doing THAT rather than repairs. Granted it's been more than 100 years everyone who needs a house likely has one by now. So there's a few holes in my logic but still. I feel like some time coulda been better spent in universe.

The thing with the Recorder is that isn't really doing anything to the Bubbles in the 1st Quest. What's really happening is that playing the Recorder 'pauses' the screen, but Link's sword jinx condition is counting down. I think it lasts 5 seconds for the sword jinx to wear off. Needless to say we know this is the case, since it doesn't work in the 2nd Quest. Because the Bubbles are no longer 2 enemies merged into one entity.

While it’s not a great fortification, that fact kinda makes me like it more. Cause it makes complete sense it’s not that great, it’s hastily thrown together and turned into a fort outta necessity. Whatever the timeframe is it’s not existed long enough for people to sit down and work on the defenses, there’s been way more pressing matters. So it’s not good, but it is good enough.

I'm just going to point out, the hooked weaponry? Yeah, pretty sure that's on purpose. It's INTENDED to stay in whatever you put it in. Why? They're fish, people. Why do you think? Because once you're hooked, they are going to drag you to the bottom of the lake in your heavy freaking armor, twist and pull while pushing off your now drowning/disemboweled/bleeding corpse. Think how much more power they can put into ripping that spear free using legs capable of climbing waterfalls. Non-issue. Assuming they don't just drag you deep enough for pressure to do the trick. Personally, I believe this is WHY a lot of their structures are the way they are- water tactics. This also explains why Lynels and Henox seem to be the only two types of opponents the Zora have any kind of issue with. Well, and probably Thunder Gleeoks in TOTK. The rest they can outrun or drown. Also, counterpoint on the wizrobes, the MOMENT they get over water? Yeah, they dead. Zora can all but fly with the leaps they have, well beyond shock range. Have one hover underneath the wizrobe, wait for it to shoot, one clears the entire electrified zone, spear forward. No more wizrobe. Water. Tactics. Also, the Zora now terrify me. Thanks.
