Couldn’t switch the hinge side of the door. It can only be installed as a right side opening. Great video. Made all the difference on the installation.

Mine stopped working even after adding new batteries. I removed the electrical part (the solenoid) to bypass. As someone else mentioned, be sure to turn the faucet to the off position before attempting this. In my version of the faucet, I had to struggle quite a bit to get the clips off. The top one was really stiff and the plastic was sharp. It was awkward to see and reach (above and behind the food disposal. To remove the top one, I eventually thought of putting on some winter gloves. A flashlight was also essential. This made it possible to get it off. Luckily, I still had the blue clip shown in the video from recently replacing the hose. The faucet works perfectly now and no need to change batteries. Wish I'd done this years ago.

Interesting to see that the installer in this video didn't use plumber's putty but silicone when installing the drain fitting.

Good video. It helped me diagnose that the solenoid on my faucet had malfunctioned and needed replacement. Also a good workaround to have the faucet function while waiting for the replacement part.

The kit didn't include that template... But, I installed the doors ALONE in five hours, MIRACULOUSLY! It was scary, because no one was helping me with the glass. Scary! Thanks be to God, the jambs were adjustable regarding plumb... In the end, I was amazed how everything works PERFECTLY and I didn't scratch or break the curved glass panels. The glass was heavy and cumbersome, working alone... Hard to believe that I accomplished it, alone.

My handles don’t have screws. How to I take it off. Just pull straight up??

I think the silicone is a bad idea. 2 thick beads and it wasnt seeping through the top. Wasn’t comfortable with the seal. Rolled up a thick snake of plumbers putty and it sealed perfectly, only let sit for 10 minutes.

Fucking terrible video

Great instructional video... easier than following the booklet. However, I have a lot of other electrical and water lines under my sink and couldn't get a bucket anywhere close to the outlet line. So I cut a small section of old garden hose to direct the flush water into a bucket. It worked great, no splash or cleanup was necessary.

I knew nothing about the plumbing but with the help of the video, I am able replace my faucet in 5 minutes. Lucky that I have chosen Delta, a product of great quality and easy installation. As an engineer, I think the engineer of Delta deserve a pay raise. Without the budget and time on a plumber, I can spend more on the faucet itself. My wife and I would like to say thank you! I am sure this is NOT the last Delta product at my home.

The instructions are terrible.

I just replace the solenoid on our faucet. I red the instructions and was a little confused. I watched the video twice and installed it without a hitch. Very nicely done, Delta. Thank you.

Mine stopped responding to touch when the water is hot. It works just fine when the water is cold or warm. Just stops working when it's hot. It worked fine for 4 years. I now have a new solenoid being sent to me. I hope that fixes the problem.

Excellent video.

Many people will need to take the handles off before installing a new cartridge. This video kind of misses that point. Now consider a few years of use and hard water like southern California has. It is possible people will be breaking the temperature handle if they don't know how to tilt it before pulling.

My pan developed a crack in bottom. Like a whole new job going with American standard this time. Delta warrantee pos you spend more time answering questions and takeing pic than job takes

Water was barely coming out of my touch faucet. Changed Batteries and nothing. This video is a blessing!!! Thanks guys! found out to be faulty solenoid. We were actually getting tired of the touch on and off as we would always accidentally hit it with the faucet facing the counter and soaking the counter top. Wife asked me many times to replace and just get a standard faucet. Removed the Solenoid and battery pack and now we have a normal running faucet. Great video!

I am a fan of Delta as I had problems with my old ones leaking, and Delta sent me the parts I needed because of the lifetime warranty. That was absolutely awesome. I just purchased the Delta Eldren 25847LF-SP with the push pop drain. My old pop up drain seems to seal better. But, out with the old and in with the new. My spouse thinks this one looks more modern. Sheesh, the old ones were just 20 years old, or maybe 25 years. I have found that the push pop does NOT seal. To me, that seems like a flaw. I expected the push pop head to be flush with the flange. Now, I am just in test mode because I have not applied silicone sealer yet and that could be the problem. Tomorrow, I will dry and clean everything super dee duper. Apply my silicone sealer, which I have to go buy, and patiently wait 24 hours for the sealer to do its super secret stuff. I will also buy silicone grease for the black under sink gasket. I will be replacing the other faucet soonish because I purchased two Eldrens and we have two sinks in that bathroom. I learned with the first and did my fair share of cussing.

Don't buy Delta. They won't honor our faucet warranty because they were installed through our builder and we don't have a receipt. $7000 spent and they won't send a $10 plastic part.

This would be even better if you included instructions for the escutchen, specifically whether it's a best practice to use silicone. Good job anyway, though this needs to be updated since the parts are different. Really awful how poorly written the instructions are that came with the faucet. Assumed Delta would have figured this out by now.

Just installed a delta 36 x 36 shower base and the lip at the front edge has become a huge problem. Cannot properly install any store bought shower door. Probably have to pay a premium for custom made.

After replacing with new batteries, my faucet indicator lights are red immediately and the touch function doesn't work. I went under the sink as shown in the video at 18:50 and unplugged from the solenoid. It flickered red as I turn the plug that goes in the solenoid and it also flickered red when I removed it. Plugging it back in and the issue persists. Is my solenoid bad?

I'd suggest the Ridgid Change Plumbing Faucet Wrench (it's red in color), especially in tighter environments. If PB or WD40 doesn't soften up a locknut or nut, suggest using either drilling it a few places to break it off or using a screwdriver and a hammer. There also some good lock nut wrenches (suggest the Kobalt circular one that can be found at Lowe's) if the channel locks or a wrench is hard to use initially.

I came here cause the rough-in mounting for my shower sprayer somehow became loose and fell thru. While this video was helpful, it does make things appear much easier than it really is once you get your hands in this. Ultimately I only needed a new rough in for the shower sprayer and I found one on amazon without having to buy the whole 4 hole rough in kit.

How would you install a shower door to this unit? Have been looking all over for a video on that and cannot find it. all videos are just to install the shower kit. Also what shower doors are compatible with this Delta C500 shower kit?

So, the L shape bead of sealant is only if you are going to install a shower door? Not needed otherwise?
