The instructions that came with this were *terrible*. There were a bunch of different models represented, and none of of the valves looked like mine. Was so relieved to see that you were installing one that looked like mine.

Why didn't you install the faucet and handles before you placed the top on the vanity?
@llucq16 күн бұрын
It's a great pop up drain, however I had to reinstall it twice because the silocone didn't hold. Yes I used bathroom silicone. Plastic safe plumbers putty did the trick.

Just spent 10 minutes replacing a faulty solenoid. This is my 2nd time replacing it. The faucet was shutting off slower and slower over the past 2 weeks. This only happened when using the touch function. Manual use of the faucet worked fine. I can't say enough good things about Delta's Customer Service. We've purchased 2 touch faucets over the years and any time I've had an issue they ask me a few simple questions and send me whatever repair parts I need at NC. They even went as far as to send us an entire replacement faucet for one of the products we were having a problem with. Again, in my case, top notch customer service.

it was well done and a big ++ for effort but I don't understand the need for a noisy sound track. it is distracting when you have hearing/ accessibility issues costs more and adds nothing. what educational settings blast music over their educators? I'm not looking to dance to an instructional video

I purchased my Delta touchless faucet over two years ago and have replaced the solenoid several times through Delta now solenoid has failed again and was told I would have to pay 170 dollars to replace it again...does anyone else have issues with having to replace their solenoid so many times? I thought Delta was a reputable brand...😡

@ did that with every single solenoid and cleaned out the itty-bitty tiny little blue filter every time the little filter is very cheaply made, and pieces broke off in parts of it, but did that on every single one of those part of troubleshooting

FYI if your not mounting it to the counter top and mounting it to a stainless stele sink, DONT is the metal washer under the sink. It grounds out the touch.

I have had this faucet for 2 years. The entire time I thought the “shield spray” button was broken, but this video shows that’s exactly how it’s supposed to work. Notice how they don’t show below the shield bubble? That shield bubble is 3-4 inches and the 14 of spray below that bubble is wildest spray like you’re pissing in to a fan. Everyone hates it. They would have had something good if it was only the strong beam of water, but we all think “shield spray” got made up after they manufactured a million of these things and then realized they were all broken.

If you are installing this please be aware that water DOES get under the walls and grows mold. If too much water gets in it will spill in the back. Be aware. Btw i did use the foam and had it professionally install

I don't understand what actually happened here. Was the stop moved by flipping the handle around, and then when putting the handle back on correctly again it wouldn't go past the stop (which is now in a new location)?

What is the little white stem inside the non water stop version of this? Instructions say nothing about it. Should that be installed when pressure testing?
@DrHogfan19 күн бұрын
what size allen wrench ?
@DrHogfan11 күн бұрын
Finally got around to adjusting the water temp on the shower part of The Delta Saylor 17 w/ n2ition . You have to have a small allen wrench to get the nob off and aother allen wrench the next size up to get off the "clamp' this exposes the little black plastic piece that comes right out. You have to rotate that plastic piece(that is marked with a C(cold) and H(hot) so that it will allow the knob to be turned far enoughj to get hotter water. I had to take it off several times before getting it right.

I’m here to try and unclog this style. I have a delta like this. Are there different versions? Because when I pull up on it to get the clog cleaned out it doesn’t move. I even tried prying with screw drivers to see if it had build up preventing it. But nothing. Doesn’t budge. Please help!

My water pressure is low. I flushed the water line as instructed, and pressure was normal during the flushing process, but when i reconnected the unit it was still low. I'm guessing the unit between the water line and the faucet/sprayer line is clogged?

Where would you connect the saddle for the drain line if I have a garbage disposal that's installed directly onto the drain sink?

really curious about a real life scenario - I'm sure 80% of customers (myself included) that purchase this cheaper type of system are placing it in an existing space or an older home. My back wall is all sorts of wack - not plumb/square. Its a lathe and plaster back wall and I thought that would be fine as it will be more surface area for the adhesive. HOWEVER, there is a bow in my wall in the middle. I can push on the left side and have a gap on the right or vice versa. What is the solution Delta? This is such low hanging fruit and I'm sure I'm not the only one with this FAQ. I assume you shim it out with a sleeper system like when leveling floors? Or perhaps a skim coat of thinset to even out high/low spots? I know I cant be the only DIY schmuck soloing a bath remodel in an old house that bought the lower end shower system. I can't find a straight answer anywhere on the internet. Here's hoping you'll answer this 3 years later......

We need water quality test as this was tested to last 6 months. This is a really small filter! Physics says unless the water is already close to pure this won’t ever work. Filter life says this last 6 months, not possible based on size, even if one person took a shower once a day and was really fast (5 minute shower) they would have to have really good water quality with very little to filter to get this thing to last 6 months. And that’s not even close to typical. Of course water quality and usage is going to be a factor. I would like to see the exact data on this lasting 6 months as stated under product info. Typical usage you will be lucky to get a month with 2 people, that’s expensive. May Eid this filter cost $10 and not almost $40 for one.

Do NOT buy this faucet. It is my worst nightmare. I wish I was being dramatic. Im in the middle of prepping for christmas and my sink just stopped running water mid washing. Batteries changed. Everything in this video done. Still NO water just mid washing up wont run at all. I got stuck with it because the previous home owners installed it but now I have to pay someone to replace it with a normal functional faucet because I dont understand all the nonsense under sink with these cables and wires. Do yourself a favor and just buy a normal tap/faucet. It may sound cool or look good but youll be in tears when your sink is unusable. And get any brand that isnt Delta. They may have reigned supreme for the boomer, but its basically temu trash at top tier prices now.
