You might want to do some investigation into those meat patties because more than 10 years ago the news reported that McDonalds mixes soy into their patties and Wendy's mixes seaweed into theirs.

You can order meat patties only. They usually have to search for it on their register menu. But, if you tie the order to your app, it will populate past orders for quick reorder. It’s maybe 2.15 per patty.

Great video Dean, looking forward to a video about your experience with the Wim Hof stuff. It's nice to see videos from a normal bloke who doesn't have any ulterior motive or pushing a product. I've been on carnivore on and off over the last 18months, lost and gained the same 20lbs. This time (the last time, this is for good now) I am 4 weeks in and down 16lbs, I've had enough and I'm determined to make it work, and you're helping with that.

@friedcpu I did my second Wim Hof breathing session last night and really enjoyed it, I'm sure I am falling asleep quicker. I didn't realise there is a beginner guided session, I was doing the normal one which is 30 breaths and then a minute hold on round 1 and a minute and a half hold on round 2 and 3. It really seems to have an effect. I'm so glad the videos are helping, making them is helping me too. I am definitely finding the longer I am doing carnivore, the more I am enjoying it and finding it natural. I think it's because I don't feel I am missing out and I am feeling fitter, healthier, and more energised. It's great to hear of your progress. I am really looking forward to a Christmas season where I actually get healthier. Normally, I would eat loads and put on weight, but this year, I am maintaining carnivore throughout. That's one of my short-term motivations/goals to enter 2025 feeling optimal and setting myself up for a successful year, and I am excited about it. Thanks so much for the comment, it means a lot, and it gives me motivation too. 😃💪🥩

I've got a question, when I defrost a ribeye steak, the plate it rested on in the fridge over night, the defrosted steak is in a pool of blood? Is that normal? Doesn't it lose important ingredients like that? I'm so disappointed!
@d3ano154
@d3ano154 16 күн бұрын
@dagmaranja888 I don't think it loses anything significant. Any of that moisture from freezing and defrosting would be evaporated in a hot pan anyway. I normally use some paper towel to dry my steak before cooking.

@@d3ano154 thanks for the answer, Dean! My defrosted ribeyes are lying in, I would guess about four or five tablespoons of blood? I even poored it away so the liquid doesn't draw even more blood out of the meat, but it would continue. I let them defrost for nearly a day in the fridge. I'm really disgusted. It must be poor quality. It was on offer. Won't buy it again and won't freeze meat anymore.

Dairy isn't one food. It would be helpful if people were more specific. Butter and cream go good with scrambled eggs. Fresh cheese curds and beef sticks work great on the road. But I have no use for cheese at home. Raw milk is great for young kids. I did use it at work to replace soda. And it did cure several health issues. Just make sure you never mix it with stevia chocolate syrup.

I can eat 400g mince (as homemade burgers, meat balls or as browned mince) add in some eggs and 55p sardines and my budget can be £4 a day. If I add in steaks it can go up to £7. Cream is great for making a "gravy" on fried mince, so it never gets wasted here.

You could hold that kettlebell close to your chest and squat. I think they are called a goblet squat or something. Add a resistance band for extra tension. Another leg exercise you could try is Box Jumping if you can get one of those boxes. I have seen others with a slam ball, but throwing it up in the air against a wall, then catching it, going into a deep squat, and accelerating up and throwing it again, helps with shoulders simultaneously.

I'm not on carnivore, but not too far off it. Duck fat is pretty great for a mention, but gonna pay for it. I think you said salted butter for steaks, and I can't fault that, but I prefer to use unsalted. By the time I'd be either basting or adding to melt, I'm already pretty happy with my seasonings. Those burgers sound like a really good deal, but does highlight an issue with some labelling. 99% beef with some salt and pepper is pretty close to 100%, but can often see something like chicken goujons saying 'made with 100% chicken breast' but ingredients is like 57% chicken, water, 23% breadcrumbs... etc. 20% fat on beef mince is somewhat on the high side of how i'd use. I like 14% to make burgers with, maybe 7% if doing a curry.

For context: carnivore here, with ankle inflexion, so squats are awkward, trying to stretch ankles out, but slow process at my age (58). I've no home equipment, but been going to the gym x3/week for 18 months. For legs I think Bulgarian Split Squats are King, started just body weight, now able to do 4 sets of 8 reps holding 22.5 kg dumbells, and legs are definitely getting bigger. Also do Forward Lunges, initially body weight, but now holding 20kg dumbells. Just started doing Reverse Lunges (good for core), 20 kg barbell behind neck + Goblet Squats (holding 24kg kettlebell), resting back of heel on a slightly raised edge at the gym (you could use the edge of your chin-ups stand). Caveat: I don't have the injury issue you've suffered. I find Muscle Monsters and Bobby Maximus' channels really helpful. Overall I'm not sure how much progress doing bodyweight only can achieve.

Page. 2/2 Toxic Fluoride Water Plant fibers are indigestible carbohydrates that feed bad bacteria, & many kick us out of fat burning. There are no essential carbs, but we have to be consuming & burning fat in order to use our "fat soluble" vitamins! Bad bacteria cannot survive on fat or ketones, but we thrive. We can starve out viruses like the Coronavirus, or bad bacteria such as Candida & yeast by avoiding sugar, fructose, & carbs our bodies turn into glucose, which feed bad bacteria. The dawn of agriculture brought with it mind fog, malnutrition, disease, pestilence, a reduction in overall health, lifespan, reduced size, reduced jawlines... evident by crooked teeth, & our wisdom teeth no longer fitting in our head, as well as reduced cranial cavity & brain size, & the optimal neurological function that running on ketones provides. Siddhartha Gautama (Buddha) said, "To keep the body in good health is a duty... otherwise we shall not be able to keep our mind strong and clear." Agriculture regressed our evolution, & made us smaller, weaker, dumber, docile, more manipulatable, & easier to control. George Orwell said, "The most effective way to destroy people, is to deny and obliterate their own understanding of their history." "Knowledge is power and it can command obedience." (Imam Ali Bin Abi Taleb) We can remove most contaminants including fluoride with distillation, reverse osmosis, or quality water filters. Rainwater is the Earth's natural distillation process, unfortunately with all of the contaminants in our environments it's often contaminated as well. Unless we have access to a clean remote mountain stream. Well water should be tested for contaminants because of all the toxic factory runoff & environmental pollution. I use an affordable ProOne water pitcher filter, which has been third-party tested to verify it removes most of the fluoride, chlorine, heavy metals, pharmaceuticals, etc, while also leaving behind minerals such as potassium & magnesium, that are very important for us. We should all be using shower filters as well. Keep in mind contaminants vary from one area to another, & filters have different filtering capabilities. For example, Pro One is great for removing fluoride & most other chemicals, but lacks in removing certain cleaners. Our skin can absorb a pint of water, along with contaminants in the water, during just a 20 minute shower. Hot steamy showers can cause some contaminants or chemicals to increase in toxicity, as well as make them more absorbable. Fluoride is found in mechanically deboned meats, & is especially high in mechanically deboned chicken. Fluoride is added to many toothpastes and mouthwash's. Alternatives are available that do not contain fluoride. Removing sugar & carbs from our diet will reduce tooth decay to about zero. Fluoride is often found in bottled water. The majority of the time, bottled water is actually from a tap or just not filtered with a quality water filter. Fluoride has been found in many other beverages containing water. There's no regulation that says companies have to use clean water, but there should be! If they remove the fluoride & promoted healthy nutritional guidelines, everyone would wake up, they would lose a ton of money, everyone would realize their evil plan, & have the energy to fight against it. Most other countries have banned many of the harmful additives, chemicals & lab created stuff still legal in the US. Other countries are adopting Western diets & getting sick too. Fluoride was found to be especially abundant in Pepsi & Coke. They must not use a filter at all. I'm sure they save a pretty penny at the cost of our health. They banned high fructose corn syrup in most countries but since it's cheaper, that's what they use in America. Cancer multiplies exponentially on this synthetic complex sugar & carbs. Land of the free to kill whoever you want, & get away with it, if you've got corporation status, because we have a corrupt government part of an evil agenda of depopulation. Many people die at the hands of their toxic products, they plead the fifth, pay a small fine, & go do it again. We all suffer, most never seeing a penny from the companies that do us harm. In the end, if these unsustainable practices continue, they will lead to our near demise... Again, or Extinction! Sugar, carbs, and plants fog our mind. We evolved eating grass-fed meats from ruminant animals with four chamber stomachs capable of breaking down plant matter, filtering out anti-nutrients, & making it possible to absorb higher amounts of nutrients than other meats. Traditional industrial farming does not produce nutrient dense meat. Industrial animals are fed diets of wheat, corn, & soy that makes them & us sick, & are sprayed with glyphosate, estrogenic pesticides, & other chemicals that run off into our water supply. This is bad for us, & our animals, but it's killing off our bee population that pollinates our plants, so our animals have nutrient dense food to eat, & we have nutritious meat. Bees are important for the cycle of life! This is a starvation diet promoted to make money, fog our mind, make us sick, & kill us off! The 1%'s plan to eliminate 7 billion people is well underway, as outlined by the Georgia guidestones, and Agendas 21-30! It is not my intention to incite fear, but to bring awareness. We don't have to feel alone, some are lost & have allowed evil to infiltrate their heart, but we are in this together. We Are One! Regenerative raised cattle are on the other end of the spectrum. Regenerative raised animals are appropriately fed, healthy, happy animals. Ruminant cattle actually provide us with ancestrally appropriate human nutrition six times more nutrient-dense on average than industrially raised cattle, typically fed diets of GMO corn, wheat, & soy void of many of the valuable nutrients found in ruminants eating nutrient dense grass & weeds with long root systems that reach deep within the soil sucking up nutrients not available near the surface, or in hydroponically grown crops with unrotated, unrested, unreplished soils. Vitamin K2 is found primarily in ruminant animals that eat grass. This was essential for the development of our evolved brain, & is important for optimal brain function. The biology of our stomachs do not allow for the conversion of vitamin k1 into vitamin K2, so it is essential that we get it from animal products. Pastor raised eggs also contain vitamin K2. Supporting Regenerative Farms will save us & our environment! Most people know we evolved hunting & eating meat, but we are still brainwashed into eating plants, & subjected to addictive processed foods. That's right, we're actually carnivores!
