FYI: this song was originally made to protest against the Vietnam War. How? IDK. But that’s why it’s called ‘War’.

They should be sharper and stronger. The piece though is incredible. Nothing like it. A cool trip to the 70s.

I love this music and this band .... I love they're from Chicago =)
One thing I like is that the version played in _The Hunger Games_ is noticeably different from the original version. This version is slower, more syncopated, and has an organic sense of soul; the version in _The Hunger Games_ is faster and has a more regular, synthesized feel, sort of an "NPR meets casino" vibe, which fits perfectly with Capitol aesthetic.

The version for Caesar Flickman's intro is sped up a bit and has the bass notes enhanced substantially.

Of all the places, to discover a song that you love, and a group whose music just gets you every time, I first heard this in a trailer for an El Clasico match between FC Barcelona and Real Madrid about 13 years ago. I LOVE THIS SONG

The visuals in this video are chilling when you compare it to the upbeat music. Chilling, indeed. Also, I'm a white woman born during the height of the Civil Rights movement so I don't know what the struggles were like prior to that. Still, I honestly can't see the point or why someone would hate another person simply for their skin tone. That's utterly stupid. Judge by the character, not the skin color.

I loves me some white women. Delicious. Come get some thugga lovin girl. I feed you good then give you the big lovin.
