I haven't tried on a NDaker bike lock yet.

I looked up NDakter bike lock and it looks like a generic one with many names, like NDakter and Sportneer, etc. It doesn't look like top security to me, although it's got good marketing.

@@Swynndla It's very confusing, it is loose on the left side and tight on the right

@@theironmarshall1450 Under tension, the wheels should be tighter on the right hand side. Starting at the right-most wheel, it should be tight to turn under tension, and next wheel to the left should be a little bit tight unless the right-most wheel in on the correct number. Is that what you find?

I could - you're having trouble with it? Usually it's you turn the front change-wheel 90 degrees - sometimes it doesn't want to turn all the way, so I juggling the number-wheels slightly (making sure they are all in their proper positions) and try again. Do you have the exact same lock or a different one?

Well done for getting it open! Heheh yea combination locks aren't all that secure, also most bike thieves will do a physical attack, like cutting the cable, so it's most important to have a very thick cable. Cheers!

I know what you're saying, but I'd bet that *this* video wouldn't likely increase bike thefts at all. Most bike thefts are done via other means, like physical attacks (cutting, snapping, etc). For decoding, it takes too long, and those who do it already know how.

If you know the combination, say X-Y-Z (where they are 3 numbers): 1. Turn 3 full turns clockwise, and then keep turning until you reach X 2. Turn one full turn counter-clockwise, and then keep turning counter-clockwise until you get to Y 3. Turn clockwise until you get to Z ... then pull on the shackle and it should open. Another way of saying that (which is equivalent) is: 1. Turn clockwise and stop on the 3rd X 2. Turn counter-clockwise and stop on the 2nd Y 3. Turn clockwise and stop on the 1st Z ... then pull on the shackle and it should open.

Google "sparrows ultra decoder" and you should find it. It's also possible to cut out a temporary strip from a drink can if you're careful not to cut yourself.

Is it the exact same model? It should go into a stuck position every 2nd position, if you're pulling up on the shackle (you have to tension it).

@@Swynndla it's the same model but the lock has been closed for 10 years haha. I don't know if the inside of the lock is rusty :( Btw thanks for answering.

If it's stuck and 90 degrees, it may be the "change" position. Try to pull it out (away from the lock) and then it should turn. You might have to slightly wiggle the dials. Let me know how you get on.

It's not really working for me

I think it tends to work on cheaper locks with low security. I find that if I slowly pulse the tensioner from very loose to a little bit loose I get more success (but of course I have to overcome the turning spring of the lock, if any).
