Just watched this and it reminded me of a thought project paper I did in college. Which was what if the native peoples of the New World had been immune to the Old World diseases. How much more that would have changed the colonization patterns and how quickly. How much more difficult it would have been how resistance to it would have changed. That could be a cool Alternative History episode.

As i see it, NATO is an excellent deterent. Article 5 is great for preventing wars from orruring to members and between members. Sure all these member nations want what is best for them first but maybe one day it can become one big ass super nation where we can just be united with old borders being state/region borders with their own uniqu cultures/micro-cultures.
