I live in Port St. Lucie and loved the video with the two of you hunting. Your tips are excellent. I subscribed because you are doing more videos of other topics in Florida. Thanks.

Your sense of smell has to be better than mine. How would you describe the smell of wild hogs?

Cool tip of the day: Another way to identify a white mangrove (as I was shown one time) is to look at the tips of the leaves. Some of them (not all) have a little indentation forming a 'W' , if you will, at the tip. W stands for white!

Any idea when you harvest the pod do you go by the firmness of the pod before it gets too hard or do you pick in a certain month?

Mullet are migration fish. In late October in Central Florida on the west Coast the mullet group up getting ready to spawn. If you look along beaches and rivers you will find them in vast quantities.
@ScrewdriverKelly5 ай бұрын
Also you will find them closer to inlets from the Gulf of Mexico as the season goes into mid and late November. Keep in mind these fish move in groups with each passing cold front.
@ScrewdriverKelly5 ай бұрын
Come mid December they will head offshore 30 to 60 miles to spawn out and return.

It reminds me of my neighborhood growing up and we smoked mullet all the time. my family survived on mullet, snook, bass, SS turtle, bull frogs, hogs and deer meat. keep up the good work Buddy.
