I’ve had to use random screws for the baseplates and the binding won’t slide onto the pucks. Far from easy installation and no troubleshooting solutions provided. No response from Union either.

for the crampon, i have black and orange base to turn, wich one should i choose ? are the black one for the "expedition" and the orange one for the "charger", because of the locking system ? (sorry for my poor english)

I ordered one but will send back. The system seems nice, with pressing the board together, but its really hard to put switch from touring to ride mode, I dont want to know how this works with snow on it. What i also dont like is, that you arent able to use the risers with crampons. Come on. Thats bullshit. I dont need crampons in the flat 🙄

The crampon deal is very interesting. You are absolutely right.

Howdy, I might write a full review at some point. But I regret buying this product. If you choose to purchase these, I highly recommend getting light weight lubricant for the moving parts, they took a bite out of my hand at 6000ft when the locking mechanism got stuck, in addition the painless system has a tendency to bend causing my skis to fall out or prevent me from re-attaching the binding. The pinless pins are not secure enough so then they get used, rotation occurs, and then you are unable to use them (hopefully not in an avalanche zone without tools)…..

This exact thing happened to me near the top of Mt Yotei last year and I had to zip tie my bindings to the attachment point to stop them falling out for the remaining ascent. Not the most fun thing to do in -20deg at altitude. Union replaced the bindings, but this is a major flaw imo.

Can anyone who has used these real world comment on them?? Hardly any reviews on them

Yeah, its looking nice, but... Please if you want to take this sport seriously dont go lazy with this one. Bindings are so loose on base plates after one season. After couple of uses I started have issues, and I can say, crampus are really useless. Just dont waste money on this
