this connection of joints with a horizontal plank looks rustic. I would have put these 40 cm horizontally from below or even installed a thick sheet of plywood with wooden molding around

You could have just trimmed the plastic cover on the plug to allow for the full slat.

Do you know if once you place your tape go over the inside edges with whatever color you are covering. Once dry go ahead and paint your inside color and you will never have bleeding! It works 100% of the time!

I have the same fireplace and I’m installing it now. I was hesitant about putting a 2x4 across the top because it has a small warning sticker about the surface getting hot. Have you had any issues with that? Thanks

Very nice. I am about to do something similar so I watch a lot of videos and your video was very informative. What did you do for the other side of the door? Did you fill the hole where the knob was or are you using that hole as a recessed handle to open and close the door from the inside?

Hello sir 👋 Reasons for not getting views on your video 👇 I have audited your KZbin channel. And I found your content and thumbnails very nice. But, even then you are getting fewer views of the videos. So I see some big problems with low views on your videos. For example:👇 No rank tags are used on your videos the videos are not uploaded full of SEO And if your video SEO score is very low your channel will rank if you research the low competitor tag in your channel tag. If you solve these problems you will start getting good results. For example: your channel subscribers, video views and watch time will grow organically day by day. I can help you if you want. I am waiting for your reply 🙏 Thank you 💓

I wonder if a better way to do the plugs and such is just to have a larger square around it... not sure. thinking ahead before I do my project. Calculating for the exact spot they will be located is nearly impossible so if it was just a larger square around them it might look nicer..but maybe not lol.

Hi there. Congrats for your job with your dad. Hope you guys had a good time together. I work with bathroom renovations and i will just leave a few tips for whoever watched your video and is willing to do the same at their homes. - before watching tutorials of how to set tile watch tutorials of how to plumb and level your walls and floors. This is the most crucial step for a proper installation. - If you are using large format tile (anything 24" or larger) avoid the brick pattern because tiles tend to bow at the center and you may have lippage when using brick patter due to the fact that you will have the center of the tile (the lowest part of the bowl) right next to edge of the adjacent tile (the highest part of the bowl) - if you go with a concrete board you still need a crack prevention membrane before setting the tile. It can be the same redgard used on the walls with fiberglass mesh on the joints but is much easier if you just go with something like a Schlutter membrane that can be applied straight to the plywood. ( Check if the floor is properly leveled before) - always center your niche to the wall and measure upfront to make sure you will have a full tile at the bottom of the niche otherwise you will have harder cuts to work with. - when spreading thin-set make sure to always use your trowel in the same direction (horizontal or vertical). - you cannot only apply thin-set to the wall or to the floor you also need to back butter every tile piece to ensure 100% coverage and proper bonding. - if you are a beginner you can cut a 2x4 in shims and create a template of your walls and floors using hot glue. (Makes everything easier) - you cannot grout the corners (wall to wall and niche). Apply silicone caulk because overtime any grout at the corners will crack and fail. I wish everyone good luck!

My God… Please stay away from old Furnitures!… You could have saved this beautiful furnitures back to it’s purpose and look, but you had to be “Modern” and ruin the furniture…… All “Modern” dont look good on These beautiful old furnitures!… They just need refurbished to the old original color! 😩 By the way, your ideas are awful! 😠

Looks really good, BUT, are these really $200 for a 2ft x 8ft piece? I have a 13ft wall in my office, to cover it with these it would be 13 x 2 x $200 or $5200?? HOLY SMOKES!!!

Using the numbers provided it would be $200 for 16sqft. Assuming your walls are 8ft high and then assuming its 13ft wide...you have 104sqft of wall space. 104/16 = 6.5 sqft. Multiply that by $200 = $1300.
