Love your videos and have purchased most of the products you recommend! FYI my Samsung Galaxy has a stylus I. The bottom. If you remove it… there is a side button that will take a photo if you press it! No need to buy a separate remote from Apple!😊

I had some anti itch cream on my hands once because I was allergic to something and I had hives. Well, the cream on my hands made their machines go nuts. Even though I was TSA precheck, I was delayed for at least 30 minutes. It was a nightmare! They later apologized but I was so pissed off.

I am worried about my trip to Edinburgh. From Denver with 1hr 8 min layover in IAD Washington DC. I heard united arrives on one concourse and departs internationally from another. So worried.

Some budget airlines, do you know how many bags you’re carrying, because it determines which zone you board the plane. One zone would be dedicated to people who have paid for a carry-on. So plan accordingly.

Most of this is good but I disagree with some of your tips. I think having Internet all the time to be extremely helpful and comforting. I would never travel without an international plan especially alone. I definitely plan my transportation from the airport but buses and trains are pretty good in other countries! For instance, the train in London is great and around $20 versus $150 ride. And in Japan, the bus is easy and much cheaper than a taxi. Just like in the U.S., rideshares are sometimes better than taxis. If my choice is between walking in the dark on a sketchy street or a rideshare/taxi, I'm picking the ride every single time!!! I do agree that it's good to lie about being alone and to trust your gut! If that street gives you a bad feeling, go a different way. As for the safe, I recommend putting your small items in a plastic baggie. That way you can be sure that you got everything out of it and nothing is hiding in a corner

You don't need a separate bag just to bring those items through security... you typically have to remove your jacket to go through security anyway, so just pack the jacket, scan the jacket (with everything in it) on the belt at security, etc. and then put the jacket back on. The things you put into the jacket will typically be things you might want quick access to anyway (even in transit *to* the airport or when sitting in your seat on the plane), so it's easier to leave everything in there.

I think the idea is to be able to dump them back into the bag so you aren’t wearing them the entire flight.

When I travel I always keep slips of paper in my wallet that have my hotel name, address and phone number as well as paper with my emergency contact info (the person I’m travelling with AND someone at home) just in case. It especially helped having the address in Hong Kong because I had it written in English and Cantonese characters so if I got lost I could just show a taxi driver or a police officer to help me get back. I’ve only used it once but it can be a lifesaver

Hi Can u bring any size liquid in a checked bag? Also can I fly with shaving cream?😊on delta
@secretariatgirl42495 күн бұрын
Ha! I actually just booked on Delta Comfort + and while researching underseat bags I saw a comment in a thread which mentioned the seat I had picked at AAA had the messed up seat!!...it was on the aisle instead of the window, one row behind the first row facing the bulkhead....I freaked out, and at about 2 AM I called Delta and switched back one row!!!! WHEW! So funny that I just found this video and already found out ahead of time which you found out after you had boarded....sheer luck, on my part!! I already had found a site that ships luggage that had more info and it was also picked up by more of a camping site. You will see a lot 18x14x8 bags but the recommendation: Better--18x13x9...and EVEN BETTER--17x13x9! And, yet, I found that even that with a slightly smaller width still didn't fit on JetBlue!~ SO I suggest you read through the reviews because you will pick up tidbits of info that may save you!!! Going even a bit smaller might be the safest! I can't use a backpack, but the Lovevook has a Travel Duffle (38.99) which measures 17.5 x 14 x 7.1 which looks awesome weighing about 2.5 lbs and a slightly bigger one, too, called the Weekender (29.99) measuring 18xx13x8." I am tempted by the Duffle and pushing my luck, but there are others in the 16" range! I wish the Lovevook backpack had a cross body strap, then I would buy it in a heartbeat! It's harder to get a personal item bag than a regular carry on!!

I'm artsy, bold, eclectic, comfortable and sometimes also classic. And it's the shoes, isn't it? I always say i dont want to make a travel decision based on how my feet feel, so always comfirt first, but dang we just want to be cute, too. Currently shopping for a retro style tennie for longer walking. 😊❤

Great idea! Thank you!! Alternatively, just pack all those items in a sling/waist pack as this item is considered part of your clothing. That way, you have less chance of losing something during all the packing and unpacking.
@user-ew8vt1ur7j6 күн бұрын
Gotta be careful abt sling bags and fanny packs wth some airlines like Frontier and Spirit....some gate attendants can be really anal Abt the "one-personal item" rule. I always wear a big roomy hoodie and just wear my slingbab or fanny pack underneath as close to my body as possible. I carry my water bottle and my book and I wear any hat or scarf I have. Every little in helps when it comes to carryons and PI's.

On Southwest, I was told to put my fanny pack into my backpack. It is considered one of your two carry ons

I have 3 more tips for you that I use. 1 I bought in Aliexpress a fisherman's jacket with no sleeves and paid someone to add more and bigger pockets, I put on top of that the warm jacket I need for the trip and hide under my sleeve a collapsible bagpack and take out my jacket and put it inside the bagpack just before entering the plane, the personal item goes on top and this smaller bag below the seat. 2 I use a neck pillow that you can fill with clothes -aliexpress and amazon-. 3 I put the bulkiest clothes in small and medium plastic bag that you can vacuum the air out of it and the pump is really small. Never in my life I've paid for extra bag or overweight.

Hey, every penny saved while traveling helps. Traveling by air is a big deal for some people on extreme budgets. I do agree, though, I don't mind paying for checked luggage but sometimes the airlines charge an arm and a leg for carry-ons and personal items.

Plus, check-ins get lost, delayed, stolen, damaged.
@TheGS02 күн бұрын
Sometimes you don't want to wait to collect your checked luggage, or you have really tight connections between planes or to catch buses and trains at the destinations. Sometimes you just don't want to be separated from your luggage, especially when transiting through routes and airports where luggage has a tendency to be delayed or misplaced

Wonderful! Someone else who packs like me. I have a jacket like that with pockets. Also the over the shoulder bag is stowed in my underseat bag until I need it at my destination. One bag only even for overseas travel.
