Very well done. You even disassembled the controller and cleaned off the plastic pieces with soap. I did the same thing with my pre-owned PS3 DS3 controller when I got it in the mail because it was a little dirty.

this was very satisfying to watch someone actually cleaning every single component of the ps4. but why you didnt cleaned the blu ray drive from the inside wouldnt there be anything as dust inside of it ?

Very good job! I recently just this with a PS4 Slim model. Took it completely apart. Internal clean. I replaced thermal paste, pads and the CMOS battery. The finishing touch was adding a 2TB SSD. I’m so happy I decided to do project. It works perfectly now. I pumped 100 plus hours of playing Mafia 3 on it. I want to pick up another PS4 like this model and do a cleaning / restoration again.

I honestly can’t help you with this bro, because I didn’t change the thermal pads in my PS4, but left the old ones because they weren’t dry

Hey@@kirbysplanet , what I can say about this is that, I already tried with a 1.5mm one, which was too large, and 0.5mm, too short. So 1mm seems to be the best fit! Love from France ❤️🇫🇷
