I get a new Pixel every year.Since I don't play games, the NPU is not a major deal to me. I love the features Google offers on their phones. Call screening, Recorder, loving the size of the Pro and can't wait to try out the call summary they have. I also tried out Samsung Ultra, Oneplus and Huawei and always come back to Google. Maybe in the 10 Pro they will add three 1" 50 mp sensors. ( Let me dream)

Apart from iPhone, only Google has been able to create an 'experience'. I love my S22 Ultra, but there is something about Pixels that always bring me back to them [just like Apple lol]. Love my Obsidian Pixel 7 Pro, despite of all its flaws.

Yes, but not the Gemini in-picture mode that can give you context from what your phone screen is displaying, or the video you are watching. Also, one of the reasons I'm upgrading to the Pixel 9 Pro XL is because it comes with 12 months of free Gemini Advanced which I already pay $20/Mo for. Add this on top of $300 trade in value for my Pixel 6, $200 of Google store credit (which I can buy the pixel buds pro 2 with) and $100 discount by financing with Verizon, I'm getting nearly $900 of value decreased from the price! Yes it because Google is a software company and therefore they will want to put Gemini on as much android phones as possible including their previous phones. I which people would stop acting like Google is forcing anyone to buy their phones. I can’t stand Samsung software or the way it looks which is why I would buy a pixel. I am an Apple user that has great video but I prefer pixel pictures I don’t give a hoot about gaming so I am happy to have this with along with my iPhone.

Why would it be a problem down there line Surely you're not buying a pixel for gaming I've found that phones are powerful enough for the average person's use cases I own an s21 and pixel 8 The s21 is more then enough power I could ever see myself needing and it doesn't have the best chip at all

@@KirbyKlein6 I've tested the pixel 7/8 it overheats power drains and cell reception is trash. the modem issue has been fixed, thermals so far it looks better than the previous generations but I speak about the horse power because it matters to me I multitask like crazy and I do take notice in app lunching time Tensor didn't handle my usage well. 99.99% of people would have a great time with the phone it's just my 2 cents on the matter that's all

For that price, you expect some high end specs. You may not need it in your day to day usage, but after 2-3 years when the upgrades will require more power, you'll wish you had a more powerful phone. There is a reason why iPhones or the S line work almost flawlessly after a couple of years. You pay for your iPhone a fuckload of money, but you can keep it for 5-6 years at least. Plus I really doubt that Google will actually go with 7-8 years of updates. They will scrap it after 2-3 probably.

Althought the bench marks say they have low scores they have proven it means nothing to real world performance. Based on heavy work load tests the g4 and g3 out performances the new Snapdragon. Google has done so well to optimise the processed for actual use not benchmarks. I feel the Snapdragon is optimised to show well on benchmark tests than actual real world performance

Love your reviews but it's not the first pixel to have symmetrical bezels. The pixel 5 did and also can every KZbinr stop mentioning that the starting base storage is 128 GB. Apple is exactly the same. No one mentions it. It's not only Google, you're all mention it like Google the only ones to be doing it and they're the worst for it. And also I would just like to point out benchmarks are not a true representation of the chip. There has been a few videos now where it is outlasting longer and staying cooler than the s24 ultra

I just want to share my issue with Pixel 8 - it would freeze randomly. And all those features he told works 90 percent times and rest 10 percent they just stop working. Like music identification sometimes just doesn't work

s24 ultra has faster charging, stylus if that helps, different software. However, it has less ergonomic shapes and is more uncomfortable, it does not have immediate software like Pixel but it has more versatility with cameras. both have their own concepts of artificial intelligence, each of them perhaps aims not to compete with each other on this point of view. No, all AI functions are currently available in all countries and probably on Pixel after a one-year trial some of these services will be paid. For cameras I don't know, both have pros and cons. I forgot.... as this is the pro version and not the XL, in this case the pixel is much lighter than the s24 ultra. if you are looking for a compact smartphone the pixel 9 pro is definitely better

I hate the glossy finished on 9 Pro body. Looks cheap because its not a stainless steel. Concerning about durability as it might be more scratch easily same as Samsung S series in the past years. Matte aluminum rail on regular 9 are more sleeker and clean.
