Many of us played with these "awful" graphics for hours on end. Those were the best of times - the 80's! I love today's machines too, but those wouldn't exist if it weren't for Atari, Mattel and Coleco.

Whoa there fella…the graphics weren’t awful! They were simple, basic - but not awful. So here’s my (annoying) old guy wisdom: Not everything today, is better than yesteryear. Not everything of yesteryear is better than today. Just wait, until some kid is calling your Xbox or PlayStation crap, one day, and you’ll understand. 😉

You're forgetting something, its not going to be the person in his 50's that's going to sell the collection some day, it will be his children, the guy only collects this stuff because its fun and brings memories of a time long gone. He is not collecting the stuff for other people but for himself so who cares what other people will want or not.

I'm only in my 30s lol this was my first console ever. I also think that the interest will always be there. I'm always on the look out for the oddball console. My favorite was the supa boy. Portable SNES that used SNES cartridges.

Intellivision was a great system in the day. Someday that will be said about PS5. I picked up Intellivision Classics for PS2. I'm 47 and would love to have an Intellivision again.

Huge scene for playing gen 2 games... not really sure what the video is going on about. The values for these systems have never been higher.

@@130jukeboxherohaving gotten back into collecting Gen 2 stuff, I have to agree. It's not crazy high like peak NES or current GameCube but still higher than what one would expect but you can still get a lot for a little if you're patient. Got a Intellivison system 3 with Intellivoice module and 30+ games for 100.

I just had one given to me didn't have the hookups for the TV?. But I had an old one laying around. It's scrambled but it won't start the controllers are not responding?. In late 2022 soon to be 2023! Later..

Thanks, I bought a gameboy color and it already has a clear shell and I was changing my spreader bc it was very low but now the screws won’t go back in bc the plastic is worn down so I’ve went for a new glow in the dark shell mine is from the tech doctor on Amazon i believe they are on eBay as well

This is actually the worst mod you could do to your N64 controller. The sensitivity and deadzone are way off with this stick! You can get Mario to run at full speed by pressing the joystick half-way! You can't aim for crap in Goldeneye and Perfect Dark with this gamecube stick, or be able to do the magic-less spin slash in Ocarina of Time. You're much better off trying to re-build the original stick by buying replacement joystick parts, like the 2 black gears and the white bowl. Kitsch-Bent sells really nice replacement parts for those!

I never knew it was actually possible to connect the GameCube controller's analog stick right into the motherboard of the N64 controller! It does appear as if Nintendo made a revision of the joystick/analog stick as time had passed by, yet, they do look identical of the wire and shape

Reggie seems like such a solid dude who is a real friend and so down to earth and humble. He is genuine and I think he's a great person. He's doing his own thing and never seems to be chasing after whats popular but just knows what he likes.
